i have been so burnt out on video games lately. every AAA game is like the same fucking thing over and over Shooter or RPG they always follow the same path and it gets boring i was losing hope until i found this channel. seeing you play all these weird smaller games has given me hope it reminds me of a time when i was excited to play something so thank you for showing me all these great little gems

"How does anyone play this game?!" A lot of new and veteran players give up on the game due to bullshit updates (among other things), the player retention rate for this game is SO BAD. "Why does no one want to teach us?" Because there's no time, especially in the state that the game is in now! Teaching late game tech is almost impossible due to the one hour limit.(also it's considered bad etiquette to crowd the smithy as they need space to work.) You could have told the smith that you were just watching to learn then MAYBE he would have let you stay, no guarantee though as smithing is a demanding job that turns you into a grumpy sod very quickly. I used Onetech(dot)info to learn most of what I know, now I have four pages of OHOL notes collecting dust because I gave up on the game. That's my one suggestion, to check out onetech and write down any recipes you want to learn so you can look at them while you're still in game in case you forget something. I heard that two hours one life is a more relaxing experience, there's more content updates(a LOT more; beer, cheese, sandwiches/a lot more food in general, more animals/clothes/trees/materials etc etc it goes on!) meaning more things to do and you have an extra hour in case you do want to teach or learn(and you can starve early if you can't commit to two hours). They do ban griefers though unlike OHOL so you wouldn't be able to antagonise anyone too much lol. Oh also, when you tried to build a road through the arctic you dropped the stakes because you can't carry ANYTHING through as a black person, GINGER can build/pick up in the snow, TAN can build/pick up in the jungle, BLACK can build/ pick up in the desert, WHITE are universal translators that have no specialty biome, your race determines what "special biome" you can interact with. One of the worst updates added in my opinion, Two hours one life doesn't have it I believe.
