I did this and I never really thought of it as a glitch. I got kinda side tracked and just kept killing chickens lol

I don't think they have patched it yet. Very helpful! Need to fully upgrade weapons but I completed the game, so salvage was hard to find. Thanks!

If you go to Coastal Forest and stand on the middle bridge, turn on survival instincts and you can see deer everywhere. They constantly respawn in sight line, and they get you better XP and Salvage.

you can do this much easier near the beginning of the game in the Mountain Village. There are two chickens right next to each other at the bottom where the first statue you can light is. Kill em, walk away, come back, kill em again, repeat.

Yea I was pretty curious about this when I saw it.

This don't seem to work anymore. I Killed the boar + 2 chickens then ran away from area came back and after 10mins 1 more chicken spawned then that was it. Seems they have fixed this or something.

The game has loads of Chickens n Crows respawns...All u need is the survival skill to get salvage out of animals(bone collector i guess) and go around killing animals with your bow(arrows can also be retrieved from the animals if u have mastered another skill). Rinse until u r bored n when u start getting the feeling that u shud rather finish the game cause GoW/SC2SWARM n bioshock infinite are waiting to be played as well :/

yeah don't think i'll be playing it through again also you gain far more xp than you need without farming so by the end you have 2000+ xp and nothing to spend it on so rather than waste time just play and you get everything way before the end anyway.

how is this a glitch? it can't even be considered an exploit. animals are part of the game and are meant to be hunted , so really all you have done is located their spawn box, waited for them & culled them. cool. You'll actually find in the current release version you can "over" hunt an area (arbitrary amount) and the exp/salvage gained is dramatically cut
