i finished playing this game and decided to revisit the places where i did't complete the quests in the mountain village, and to my surprise there were enemy soldiers there, i mean wtf is going on? has this happened to anyone else?

the GSG challenge (at 11:13), I made the first railing in one jump, then chickened out and jumped to the roof from there, instead of to the second railing :D awesome set of videos so far for these Easter Eggs! very thorough and informative, I use another person's set of video's for the story/combat, and occasionally go elsewhere on the web for other help; but, you two are the primary sources now. I killed two birds with one stone because for some odd reason. I knew GSG was going to go back to the tomb that had the GPS cache on it lmao. But I forget which game I watched of his. But I did give him a sub because I flew through the game faster than the Flash. Which is why I'm glad he does great videos like these because I 100% completed two of the areas that I didn't get everything in. Thanks so much GSG

Around 7:00 you actually have to begin watching "Mountain Base" & "Base Exterior" guide. Then you come back to this video where you leave off when you have the rope.

I did the jump 11:07 without dieing although i didn't make it to the second ledge like you did,i jumped near, it wasn't that hard I think everybody who played a little bit of Tomb Raider can make the jump great video by the way HELPED A LOT !!! :-))

First of all I would like to say how simple to follow and informative your videos have been for me. I have managed to get 100% on all played levels with your help. But, this video in particular (Past 07:05), wasn't as helpful. You said you need to progress through the story. But what you didn't say was how much progression. So trying to follow your video, after going back and forth, trying to locate the items on the map, I gave up and continued onto Base Approach, Mountain Base and Base Exterior, leaving Mountain Village without finding everything. After completing the part where the plane gets struck out of the sky, the game said I would need to find a way back into Mountain Village. When I found my way back I reached the camp you were in at 07:10. I would really appreciate this, if you either split your video into two, so the playlist plays the second half after Base Exterior or you added a helpful note in the description to help people in the future who also encountered this problem.

For some reason the first document next to the relic is not there...I can see it grayed out in the map but nothing to pick up.

How could you reach the area at 7:12? I simply cannot find the way even I cleared the whole area without help... :(

it's a bit longer to watch, but, watch the playthroughs (i.e. giveaway videos that were made later by GSG) in it, you'll notice that this area, like some other areas, are left and returned to multiple times with main story quest lines that progress you to other access points in the areas in question. example: Mountain Village (version 1, exit point 1) may lead on a merry chase through a pile of sub areas, back to MV(v2, ent2));MV(v2,ext2)->MV(v3,ent3); etc

Right before 8 minutes there is a book in that hut with the relic that is completely blocked off. How do you get to that?

How do I get back to the day camp at 11:30 mark? Im missing a gps. Help plz

Chances are, like me, this person went through the storyline first, and is now trying to go back for collectibles. The area where the relic he's referring to (7:30) seems to be more or less unreachable after the fact.

Epic Jump Challenge: completed. Did it first try and without any stutter step or the like. Landed square on it.

I am going back years later after having beaten this game. I’m trying to get the collectibles but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to get back to the day camp at 17:33. This area is quite frustrating. Update: I figured it out.

How far in the game do u have to go to get the rope? I'm up to the base exterior stage and I got the treasure map for mountain village but some icons have a question mark on them

For some reason, the last GPS cache didn't show up for me. All I did was re-fast travel to the area and it was there. Just in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

What do you mean by the illumination fire is your life and the game is over when it's out? The fire can be blown out and the game is over because of it? I'm confused.

Umm you skipped ahead at 22:01 because I've found a coin and GPS during the "find the bunker" objective by the fire camp.
