On Today's Episode:
The recession has many of us feeling the pressure everywhere from groceries to rent prices and electric bills increasing. You may feel like every area of your life is a struggle. Home life with your family, increasing your income, trying this new thing and creating a side hustle while getting better outcomes with your finances may have you feeling overwhelmed and hopeless.
You don’t have to continue living with the heaviness of the day to day struggles, in fact you can transform those struggles with a decision to be focused, disciplined and productive instead.
Hal Elrod is known for helping millions of people around the world with his bestselling book that transformed his life, and the lives of all of his clients, The Miracle Morning. The ideas and practices that Hal found so much success with were tested when he came against a terminal cancer diagnosis that would have most people doubled over in fear and disbelief.
In this episode, Hal is pointing toward a clear path that allows you to decide how you can experience even the scariest, most stressful situations by choosing what your optimal experience will be.
He uses words like miracle, unwavering faith, responsibility, choices, and outcomes when talking about creating the version of reality you want for yourself.
Take notes as Hal reveals:
The Miracle Morning formula
How to create effective affirmations that get results
Better way to approach your darkest moments to create outcomes you desire instead of feeling defeated.
If you haven’t already, check out Hal’s book Miracle Morning: www.amazon.com/Miracle-Mornin...
QUOTES:
“I’ve learned the lesson to accept reality exactly as it is.”
“Every painful emotion that we experience is self-created by our resistance to our reality.”
“Responsibility determines who’s committed to the current reality and the future reality.”
“I can choose how I experience every moment of my life.”
“It’s okay to be negative and feel sorry for yourself, but only to a point where you extract the lesson and the value from the circumstance and experience.”
“A miracle is any result or outcome that’s beyond the realm of what you believe is possible for you.”
“Do I want to change my life or not? Am I willing to get out of my comfort zone and do something I’ve never done before to create a result I’ve never created before? Hell yes!”
“You can control if you get better.”
“I believe the most important form of visualization is visualizing what are you going to do today that will create that vision board that you’ve got on the wall.”
“My why is always to become the best version of myself.”

Lesson - accept reality exactly as it is. Every negative emotion is created by my resistance to my reality. It’s not them. I am responsible for my reaction and my experience.

We live in a software-generated continuum. It is an evolving system and evolution inevitably entails error. Growth is impossible without it. It's not a bad idea to take responsibility for your life, but I wouldn't get carried away with the notion that everything negative in your life is self-compelled into manifestation. Trust me, the software screws up all the time.

This is why I like Tom. He hold his guest to the fire until he can understand where they are coming from and he respectful elaborates on where he disagrees with them. He has a skill of communication that is underrated. He’s not a “yes” man. He listens to them and can take what is good from the conversation. He accepts the good without having to accept everything he’s told without making the guest feel attacked or belittled.
@joe5516

It's unbelievably arrogant rude and controlling... He's not putting the guest in the fire.. He is being incredibly impatient and is showing irritability in not understanding.. The kind and considerate thing to do is either take notes in your head or on paper and ask the questions when the guys done speaking.. I find him annoying as hell..

I love that he’s disagreeing and searching for truth. My issue is that he keeps interrupting the guest. He’s showing a lack of respect for his ideas and it does read as arrogance at certain moments.

Imho… Tom has imposter syndrome but tries to be a good guy like Lewis, but feels he is not credible enough. He does his research but he needs to understand he is not as knowledgeable as his guests and should let his ego go. He needs to stop trying to be as knowledgeable as his guest while still understanding the context. I think this causes chaos in the mind eventually. Relax Tom, just interview stop trying to be both. Nice guy though.👍 Just wish he and others would stop with their own commercials inside their posts. KZfaq is suppose to watch for this? I guess for some who make them more money they can ignore them. But I’ll be stopping my $18/mth prescription for no commercials if they don’t do something about it soon. This interview is all about finding peace within. Tolle says the same thing. And it could have been done in 30 minutes.

Hal Elrod is a very good motivational speaker. I never took on any major changes over the years unless sufficiently motivated. Your attitude can move you forward or take you down ⬇⬇. My career was high tech for 30 years, two countries. We had a saying. Attitude is 85%. My " can do" attitude gave me a successful career, after I was told repeatedly, that women could not break that corporate glass ceiling in Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering. I just did not give up or take what was said to me as the only route to follow. Back then I adapted that Nike commercial... "Just do it! I was grateful for the opportunities that presented themselves and the one's I created through resourceful thinking. Bottom line, I considered myself ordinary and had to map out and pray upon my path in life. Networking was key. I agree with Hal, you have to decide what you will be committed to and go for it. Hal shows you the steps he took top achieve his goals. My journey involved planning, hard work and challenges. Everyone has a different path to choose. ~ Diane

Tom you gotta get Malcolm Gladwell on the show. I recently read Blink and it introduced to me the idea that the closed door to the subconscious in our mind isn’t meant to be opened and peeked into, because then it loses its ability to work the way it does. Like breaking down all the mechanics of a tennis player’s serve and then having him consciously think of those things while he serves. This conversation reminded me of Dr. Gladwell because your approach, which I absolutely love and respect, has always been about drilling into exactly how, what we need to do in order to unlock our potential. It’s possible that less is more? Cheers. Thanks for your amazing content.

The title of this video is funny. I'm listening to Hal talk about how he visualized himself walking and "a week later, the doctors come in and say Hal, we're going to let you take your first step tomorrow." THIS is the Law of Attraction. The practicing of the Miracle Morning activates Vibration (Law Of Attraction) or the Conscious state (Law of Assumption) or the God Like Power (Christianity) within you. That said, I'm huge of fan of both of you.

Loved this! I think we are powerful beyond measure. What if it's the MIND that gets in the way!! I don't think it's a matter of learning more based on our limited perspectives, but rather 'unlearning' and coming back to our core - Wholeness. This is why so many people benefit from meditation - it slows the mind, and brings us back to our core. The mind creates resistance, through its lack and separation conditioning and limitations. The solution is to let go of the mind and in a result you connect to pure consciousness / your super-conscious / Wholeness, And THEN use your mind from a place of Wholeness. The Power is in the Present Moment ❤️

You can combine some of these in ways that makes sense to you. For example, on the days I go for a jog, I listen to an audition while I'm running; and doing that is part of my reading because the point to reading in the mornings to me, is to learn something new. Listening helps me learn just as much as reading. Other times, I'll combine reading with meditation. Like if I'm reading a book on how to meditate, I'll take whatever chapter/section I read as an act of meditating. So, I stay still and in silence for a while right before I get out of bed. Then, once I'm out of my bed and have made my bed, I set my timer to meditate or I put a video of a guided meditation on. Hal talks about how he visualizes going to exercise and how he'd feel in the mornings before he got out of bed, which in itself is being in a meditative state. I also will journal my affirmations and/or gratitudes in the morning. Recently, I've been trying to implement the part about writing down the characteristics I'd need to possess, the steps I'd need to take, and the person I'd need to be to achieve my affirmations/goals. Unlike your guest, I see my affirmations as "goals"/ steps/achievements that I'm willing to take to get the results I want/need. So, I do Believe it helps me say them each morning.

This was a great discussion. I agree with almost everything he said especially what he said about combining allopathic medicine with holistic medicine, visualization, meditation, exercise but I don't agree with his interpretation of affirmations but that's okay, we should all believe what works for us. For affirmations, as a follower of Christ, I believe in "calling forth things that be not as though they were" combined with faith which is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." I am a cancer survivor (12 years praise God!) and I praise God for Hal's recovery and journey.

This is what I love about the Holy Bible, it gives all the hints, clues, rules and the only way you as a human are able to reach your inheritence in the heavens that’s always been availible to you to appear on earth is to have knowledge, wisdom, understanding and pay attention outside of the 5 senses and ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND LIVE AS IF YOU HAVE… with unwavering belief you have and faith it will be. It’s the ability to bridge the gap between conscious mind and subconscious mind…and listen and see with your spirit. When I quiet the noise of the world, I get better than what I want. I but beg to be of serve to humanity, then constantly asking what next? When can I do it? What do I need to do? What am I missing? Sure enough I wake up with 1-2 things to do towards my three things I’m prioritizing right now. I tip every chance I get like I’m tipping myself…I send money out like I have tons happily. 💜🙏🏽✝️

Tom, your question is SO magical when you asked, "How do you choose accepting the wheelchair and choose the painful route of fighting it vs. full acquiescence of lifelong happiness in the wheelchair?" This is the key for so many lives because people choose the latter and call it the highest enlightenment. I agree, it is enlightened, but enlightenment level 7 where the former is a higher form of enlightenment, like a level 8 or 9.

It's age and experiences related. Youth, having grown up in a prosperous, loving home, are always naive enough to look forward to the future without fear - so are easily taken advantaged of by less well off human predators. Once a young person falls prey to human trafficing, a mean parent, a mean boss, a self-ish mate, etc... then their soul wants out but their body can't escape. So their spirit chooses death over the realities of the material world - where everything was designed to destroy our physical bodies.

When you've read a guy's every book and listened to 2-3 interviews, it's easy to want to skip over their next interview. It's "old news". I know it created some healthy tension at the start, But Tom's willingness to be pendantic and Hal's willingness to go deep, recreated the message of the Miracle Morning and the Miracle Equation for me in an inviting new way. Appreciate these two greats.

Hal understands living in 'being' in duality. Tom is struggling as a man who is used to 'actioning' and 'doing' something to feel worthy of achieving things in life. Quite interesting to see the energy tension this creates as both are trying to explain their domain. They are both missing the final aspect of expectation from a place of complete surrender where they completely get out of their own way and life from authenticity and heal or manifest with minimal effort. But I know why this is: partly they are male and feel happiest 'doing' and secondly they were raised in a feminist capitalist culture which has framed them into believing only by 'doing' can things happen. We'll see.

You are 100% right my friend, vast majority of successful people and even unsuccessful people will share that similarity. Science says - show me and I'll believe. Faith says - believe and I'll show u. Rationalists use their sensory faculties predominantly like smell, see, taste, touch, hear

@@johncasoni4379 yes, many around the world have replicated his work in all manner of wsys. The implications are astounding. Physical proof that thoughts create reality. Music too. Even just words written on the containers in the experiment have a surprising affect. Love and hate for example. Love has a beautiful ice crystal. Whereas hate manifests as fragmented and in disarray.

I don’t think these guys actually thought about another perspective of how some people think. You don’t have to live or accept the way things are. It could be a decision between giving up and exiting (suicide) or accepting things as they are. I are you strong enough to trick yourself into being ok until you actually adjust to your current reality to actually be ok. I commend him for his mental resilience, however I already decided what I would do should I find myself in a particular set of circumstances.

Exactly. Sure some things happen on accident, but for example if you want to lose weight you have to focus on the outcome, have some goals in mind, and work towards them. Having that “vision” helps remind you of your goal and keep you motivated. If your vision is of yourself still obese in 2 years time then that won’t help your motivation moving forward so you’re less likely to stick with it.
