Tom I am grateful for Impact Theory and your efforts to help others achieve on their dreams. An important take away is to keep focusing on what you want. A lot of times we space out or think about situations which prey on our social anxieties and fears and these situations never occur. Catching ourselves in these moments, letting go of that thought and then replacing it with one of our goals will help us manifest it faster.

@@AngelicaChristi Hi Angelica, I dont really understand the chiseling away at your masterpiece analogy. Can you explain it to me?
@AngelicaChristi

To keep going inward and listening to the intuitive knowing voice of the True Self and chiseling away the masterpiece that is already there. I immediately thought of the Pieta by Michelangelo. I have done many silent retreats--and each is profound. No technology, no phone... at first the mind goes crazy and then you never want to leave that space. Thank you for these great reminders--fantastic interview.

@@keve8586 I look at it as each of us came in as a completed masterpiece but then parents, society, church, school, media, etc, began piling on rules /beliefs of what I should be or do to be accepted or approved of. It becomes layers upon layers of mistruths or disapproval that creates the 'veils' for many of us to hide who we are. After a while we forget. As a child, I was a healer of animals and made healing remedies from what I found in nature, but because I was teased by my siblings I began hiding that part of myself. I also designed furniture and created beauty with the help of my parents, but that too was replaced with playing basketball with my brothers.

Mr. George was speaking from a place that no other guess has spoken from. His authentic heart. Most professionals learn what to say from a book, but will never be able to be as compassionate as someone who has lived the feeling of XYZ and then be able to articulate that thing and then turn it into a relateable scenarios, to fit that person that he is helping. The most sincerest guest yet.

@12:45 - I reealllly appreciate the alternative perspective on a recovering addict *not* continuously labeling/referring to oneself as a "recovering addict". That has always subtly not set right with me, and I would like to support more programs that adopt small shifts in perspective like this...its soooo much more empowering in my eyes.

We become what we think about. Who do you want to be? These words are so true. It can be tough at first to think of who we want to be since we are made up of experiences that make us who we currently think we are. But we are capable of massive change. What is the ideal version of yourself and of your life? Start imagining yourself in the shoes of that perfect version of you. And work until you get there. 🙏🏼

Today I told to a friend that tried to criticize me for something I said. What do you think is in your mind so you own it ? He replied yes ..so, i said , It means that what you think is your problem?? He replied I guess so. Then I said, if what you think is in your mind and at the same time it is your problem why do I have to worry or get concerned about your problem... he just moved his head and smiled. thank you so much Tom. I have leaned so much through your program it is amazing the way I think and the way I live now . I love myself and I try to be my best every day. I try to let friend and family know about the impact theory. For me the impact theory is like going to therapy everyday. Take care and keep being legendary..

Thank you for another beautiful episode Mr. Bilyeu. Please consider hosting Lamar Odom. He’s just finished his book “Darkness into Light”, I believe he would be a great contribution to your show with his near death experience with how he overcame his drug and sex addiction, and how he’s grown into the person he is. I believe he has numerous achievements from being one of the best players in New York during high school at the time, being drafted to the Lakers, being the 2011 sixth man and a 2009 and 2010 nba champion. Thank you for greatly impacting my life with IMPACT Theory, I’m struggling with a broken and torn knee and it’s depressing knowing I’m unable to play sports I love for my senior year in high school. However, your videos gives me strength and makes me realize there is always something that can be done, and always something to be optimistic about. Tom, I rarely comment because it is my belief that what you do routinely despite feedback drives you much further than what I can give you in response to your passion. I rarely comment but have watched nearly all of yours and Lisa's content. The people that the both of you bring into your shows captures perfectly in varied ways what this generation needs to hear, in a progressive sense that we lack in parenting growing up in today day and age. But even growing up learning those hard lessons we did in our age range through "failed parenting practices" propells those individuals out of that dogmatics sense. The individual 1 on 1s are incredible. Background on me I am on my second marriage. I learned through 4 years of counseling and therapy alot of what you share on relationship theory and it is massivly beneficial to your audiance that you continue to capture your audience as you do. You have taught me many things in terms of body, mind, heart and health. Alot of my random punishments for my soldiers involves them doing a semi meaningful task like writing a paper or cleaning something that takes a long time and ill put on some of you content and speaches while they do it to give them perspective. I also give out your content to my soldiers who are seeking a marital status for them to see and understand the mindset needed to make the right choices. I appreciate what you do please continue to give us these great insights and making creating those mental connection for my the ligitimize what I feel in my limbic brain and put into words for the solsiers I am responsible for developing. I've never seen anyone who is so quick witted as Tom, especially regarding complex issues that typically need reflection. This isn't as complex, but it shows that Tom almost has precognition of what Mr Robbins (who kicks ass) says and responds gracefully and wittingly - it's amazing. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/lbmWZtl-sqvWp5s.html&t=268. As an admirer of the early Christian Gnostic and their Poetic Philosophies regarding Soul, Spirit, Divine and The Purpose, I also greatly admire the Buddhist or Zen style of meditation. Incorporating the two has elevated my consciousness to a degree I've not known before, and episodically creates an internal peace and state of blissful "euphoria" during meditation that I think some have related to "divine energy" or "heroin's bliss" (I'm drug free, so I can't relate to heroin's bliss or meth's euphoria). Love his analogy of Original Sin and Originally Programmed for being Good. Love this channel. BTW, I speak so enthusiastically one-on-one, but fall extremely flat and stale when talking to the camera....any tips on overcoming this "sunken energy" when trying to be enthusiastic on cam. Would love anyone's input, especially from Mr. B.
