Vic Lopez Compared to the Buddyclub exhaust for Honda?

It's a straight pipe of course its loud LOL. In this they installed everything from the cat back, to the mid Y-pipe to the test pipes i believe, that's loud and expensive, whole exhaust system is like over 3 grand where I'm from.

The wheels are Enkei RPF1's. Front is a 18x9.5 +15 offset, rear is a 19x10 +22 offset. I would take measurements, these will probably not be an ideal size for your 280Z. They're also very limited in sizing for your 4-lug bolt pattern.

+michael jewell a tuner puts the car on a dyno and programs your ecu to run the best it can with the after market mods you have installed, theres no point in tuning a car if its stock

Z1Motorsports I am in the process of buying the full tomei exhaust but I want to know what have give you guys the best gains on headers? Z1's or tomei?

It is okay for daily driving as long as you drive normally and don’t floor it every single time

That car was completely stock other than the Tomei Test Pipes, Y-Pipe, and Exhaust added in the video.

Tomei developed the exhaust with performance in mind so it seems silly that they would develop it as a dual since that would mean twice the piping (more weight, more complicated design, etc). Since it's titanium, it would also drive the price up.

If that is the point building something attractive should have been considered on the drawing board ...looks are a big part of the tuner world ...

Well that's completely subjective, the Tomei exhaust is regarded as one of the best looking exhausts on the market by most. It's easily the best selling and highest value single exit exhaust for the platform, so I'd say they hit the nail on the head.

How is a single exhaust flawed? Who cares what it looks like, if the goal is to create an exhaust that flows exceptionally well while keeping weight as low as possible, it sounds to me like they achieved their goal. If you want a heavier dual exhaust than there are options for that.

jackrios4040 pretty much every exhaust deigned for a specific car is all bolt on. It's only not if you have to cut and weld because it's designed for a different car

Yes on the VQ platform they say singles give better horse power ratings. Also did you know the stock exhaust on Z's and G's is basically a single exhaust, but has a dual outlet only in the back. True dual x pipes are usually good for low end power band and for gas mileage, the single is good for FI and horse power even on the NA cars.

Less weight and other stuff that i dont know about lol

Sound will be similar, but plan on upgrading that y-pipe when you have an opportunity.

This car gained 22whp with the complete Tomei exhaust.

You shouldn't need a tune. My car in the video picked up 30whp just from the full exhaust, if you lost power after installing you have an issue on your car.

It's not a Honda, and it's not a crap ebay exhaust. It's sole function is to produce power and save weight, which it excels at. Tomei didn't design it for people with sensitive ears.
