One car in this video is not a Willys, see if you can spot it and let me know. It looks very close to a 1940 Willys Coupe but a few things are different. I left it in as an Easter Egg find. Thanks for watching! Tom

I built a lot of Headers for the Willys, back in the 50's & 60's, and Stone, Woods & Cook, Big John Mazmaiain were the badboys back then.

Pronounce it ‘Willies’ or ‘Willis’. Either way they have always been one of the coolest looking drag cars imo. Thank you Tom!

As a 13 year old kid I won first place contests two years in a row with the two 1940 Willys I built. 57 years later I still have the model in a glass case and the trophy’s. It looks amazing like the first Willy in this video with the blue tinted windows. My model has the same blue tinted windows… but is better looking! I wish I could share a photograph with you guys!

I would be happy to, you will be amazed at the similarities of my 57 year old model i built as a 13 year old kid back in the day. i will try to find the local news paper i was featured in holding the trophy as well. Just give me a day or so.

Yes, the video was shot at Great Lakes, Byron Dragway (Illinois), and Rock Falls in Wisconsin. Great Lakes is an awesome drag strip, be sure to go down there for Memorial Day weekend or on the 4th of July for the Night of Fire event. It will blow your mind away with the amount of cool cars that come there.
