I am a lions fan my whole life, I've always loved how the "rivalry" in the NFC north is basically a friendly alliance between lions, bears, and vikings against the Packers. We all hate the pack lmfao. The two dreams I wanted the lions to get came back to back. 1- crush Rodgers and rob him of the playoffs and be the reason he was out-- 1.5 Rodgers leaves the pack 2. Beat a reigning superbowl team

And as a Dolphins fan, you could say we woke up the Lions. In the 2022 season, the Lions lost their first game to the Eagles 35-38, then they defeated the Commanders, then lost 5 in a row and that was the Dolphins that gave the Lions that 1-6 record after a surprisingly close game 31-27, but all of a sudden, they won 3 in a row bringing them to 4-6. Then the Bills came to Detroit for Thanksgiving which was also a close game with the Bills winning 28-25 bringing the Lions to 4-7 only for them to win their next 3 games which included the Jets losing to the Lions bringing them to 7-7. Just to lose to the Panthers, but after that, they dominated the Bears and kicked the Packers out of the playoffs ending the Lions 2022 season on a high note with a 9-8 record when they were 1-6 at one point.

A team with a solid D and good offense like SF or Philly matches up great against them, and several top AFC teams have the raw firepower to win a shootout. Nah, Toney played about as bad as Marvin Jones Jr. did, but a lot of those passes were poorly timed because Mahomes was avoiding Hutchinson. Sure, a great receiver gets a couple more on most nights, but he doesn’t have great hands.
