As you are well aware... there can be lots of negativity on this platform which can easily discourage you from doing or saying stuff , for the last 18 months or so I've kept in my lane, ignored what others think and just got on with it. Honestly It's been the most enjoyable time so far! Thanks for the Support on here, and via email over the last 12 months or so.

I think Kyosho builds some great vehicles, they just don't get a lot of attention. This truck is pretty quick and tough.

The Best Part About this Van For Me Is I can Watch all you KZfaqrs Go Mad With Yours and i can Dial Mine down to half way on two S and still pull a wheelie and keep it in shelf queen looking machine that it is - so love this truck and so cool now that i've put in the light kit from Ebay for only a Fiver looks super scale even more now cheers Tomley Love your channel my friend Gotta Chat some time soon Buds.

I always thought Kyosho were all about racing, but the mad van looks great!

Need to shim the diff ring gear and input gear. Kyosho don't do this, so the gears last 5-10 packs if you're lucky. It was the same with the original MV. 12x15 for the diff, 5x7 for the input. Rather than add these from the factory, Kyosho fitted gardened gears but irs not solved the cause. Odd, as a shim is so cheap... The original chewed up spurs too, in less than a pack sometimes. There's a 32dp upgrade that works a treat. Other things to do are get the diff seals and fill them with oil plus add 350cst shock oil and check they're not leaking, as they all seem to. To keep the front down, add weights, its such a light thing that they just flip.

The Mrs and I have both of the Mad Vans. We are almost finished with our fully upgraded Mad Van original and it now has a 4000kv 3s brushless system in it. We’re waiting on pinion gears ⚙️ and then we’re on to speed runs and some serious bashing.

I never noticed a battery get better ever but I did yesterday for the first time. My lipo 80c Golbat 2s woke Right up in the Gen 8 yesterday on the mud run 👊😀 It was so fun This could use some mudder tires it’s nice 😁👌🙂👍

Hi Phil. You got some great shots in the bash segment. Good to see that the plastic roof bits saved the body in the speed test. Mine still sounds really screechy at speed like there is something wrong with it but I've had it apart and can't find anything. That clicking noise you had at the end does sound like something else. Hope your gears are ok!

I won mine in hobby comps and I absolutely love it…. Once you get used to the handling of the 3s you wouldn’t go back to 2s… only thing I’d recommend is open your diffs and make sure they are greased!

if i got mine free i'd probably love it too, at least then i wouldn't mind having to constantly replace parts that keep breaking because they weren't made to handle the power and big wheels..........

@@abruptlyblunt I’ve since sold mine 🫣🤣 I loved the look of it and racing it on speed runs but anything else and It would chew the front gear and you had to wait up to 3 months for a replacement 🙄 I now have the rival mt10 and it’s in a league of its own with a 16t pinion gear taking it up to 48mph on 3s with no issues so far 😊🤞

I don’t have a mad van but I did have a nice nitro Kyosho buggy while ago, it handled very well. I’m guessing the mad van is similar?

This van is a blast it so seems.would get one run it 3s and have a new body on standby. Would need a bashing body and a shelf body

Had mine over a year now whant two do some thing different would like two get the on axial sevo mounts two make it 4 wheel steering it's a good truck as well bud done a lot of up grades on mine all from chaos from steering knuckles 2 straight axle carriers front hub carriers and I've also done chaos diff covers front and back and I got the upgraded bearing kit which I will point out definitely worth it the barrens what coming the truck seem to disagree hence the reason for the upgrade love the channel two my man keep um comin bud 👍👍👍

I have a Stampede 4x4 VXL which is standard apart from proline mx38's, brute bash body, mips and some extra cooling and the performance on 3s looks comparable to the mad van, I love going across a park at 35-40mph pulling 50m long wheelie while keeping then throttle pegged, it would go further but usually topples off to one side.

very nice! I'm more impressed with the 2s performance - thought the 3s was good, but not a big enough step up to worry about. Plus 2 was better controlled. Keep on rolling the content! awesome 👍🍺
