Messenger pigeons were a target for military back in these times and since hes ex military he saw a pigeon and took it out, it had nothing to do with his fast reflexes to prove a point of his aim. Why else would they put a random fuckin pigeon in a bar, for shits and giggles? He shot the phone, 1st source of communication down, then he shot the bird. 2nd source down. its not a hard concept to grasp but if yall wanna be stupid then be stupid. Again nothing to do with him showing his reflexing to flex on anyone, there would be no point to flex anything when the bar owner and many others in the town already know his reputation.
