Sub-7 execution is actually quite fast, as Tommy did about 8 seconds of exec for his WR.

It's amazing to me how even the world record hold gets DNFs on about half of his solves.

Speed is a double edged sword in BLD. When you are going that fast for memorization you are sacrificing the chance to double check your memo. So the faster you go the easier it is to make a mistake. For me personally, my accuracy started taking major hits once I was sub 2 minutes because I wouldn't allow myself to double check as often.

More like a quarter of his solves. Also he could get a success on every solve if he wanted to but he would have to go slower, which is pointless for speedsolving

@@stuartstirland8730 actually it's FFC (3-style with 12 buffers instead of one) plus Alg sets like LTCT, T2C,Block comms, Alternating pseudo swaps. With advanced tracing and smart cycle breaks
