I have been watching and subscribed to your channel. I am 72 yrs old and recently purchased an Alesis electronic drum kit. Reason being I thought it would be great exercise and coordination for cognitive ability. I diverse, forgive me. Watching you teach reminded me of someone I took lessons from when I was 16 yrs old, your father, Sonny, when he was on 46 st. in Manhattan, circa 1968. during approximately 6 mos. studying with your dad my technique and drumming abilities vastly improved. I eventually gave up the drums (sort of) and entered a career within the computer industry. But in this ripe old age I'm at it again (practicing hard when I can). Your dad was a great teacher with much patience for my 16 yrs. I am now taking lessons from you on KZfaq, keep up the legacy of teaching and playing. Thanks to both of you.
