Yonder comes a rabbit Skippin through the sand Shoot that rabbit, he don't mind Fry 'im in my pan, lord I'll fry 'im in my pan Big eyed rabbit's gone, gone Big eyed rabbit's gone Yonder comes a rabbit Just hard as he can run It's yonder comes another one Gonna shoot 'im with a double barrel gun, gun Shoot 'im with a double barrel gun Yonder comes my darlin It's how do you know? I know her by her pretty blue eyes Shining bright like gold Shining bright like gold I'm rockin in a weary land, land I'm rockin in a weary land

Dear "Good Time Music" (whoever you may be . . .), this photograph you used was taken by me in 1966 and is now in the "J. Scott Odell folk music collection, Ralph Rinzler Folklife Archives and Collections, Smithsonian Institution", which should be credited. It's been widely used recently without appropriate credit by you and others -- I'm glad to see it appreciated here, but the staff at the Rinzler Archive do wonderful work preserving our cultural heritage and I want to see that they get appropriate credit. Thanks.

olderstuff I will do so as soon as I'm home. Thanks for the message ( and not flagging the video!). Best regards, Alex

Alex, I much appreciate your quick response. By the way -- typo alert -- it's Jarrell, not "Jarrel"! If you'd apply the photo credit info to your other "Tommy and Fred" videos, I'd be pleased. Scott Odell

Part of what appeals to me about folk music is that it is public domain, no credits need be given and names and lyrics are often changed.

Who's cabin is it? Where was the picture taken? Whatever you could add to the back story would be much appreciated! Thank you.

possibly, or perhaps the tape stretched over the years and affected the tone.
