After watching some of your tommy reactions...yea you have a crush. Cute. It's not only tech how he sings but well know tech how most of power metal band singers use. Funny enough when some opera singers react to something and ....they have absolutely no idea how somebody can do that without proper training. They go to anatomy. If and when they are trained to know how sound comes out, good for them. Yea what ever...tommy is huge, Hannes is tall (sabaton) i'd say 190cm so tommy would be 1.95cm...yea, we don't use somebody's arms or feet or fridges or alligators to measure something. We use metric system...just had to say that 😉

Not really sure what the height has to do with it, i'm 6'3 and i have no chance of hitting any notes similar to him with anywhere near that kind of projection, meanwhile - one of my best friends is like 5'6 and he can do this same kind of thing, maybe not quite as refined, but definitely with just as much power and hitting all the same notes 💁 just takes a LOT of practice and training. He's clearly done everything as close to correctly as possible

So glad you got a wild hair since we literally had this conversation 2 days ago! I KNEW you'd freak out, girl!! Tommy will never disappoint you...prepare to be blown away every.single.time you hear Tommy sing! And, btw, he plays all the instruments and arranges the songs... Tommy began playing guitar at 8, singing at 14...but the cheeky looks...girl...he's a Scorpio! I can hit most of Floor's notes, fully warmed up...but Tommy is in another league! BTW, Tommy is 6'5" of pure Swedish Viking power!

He certainly has the belting technique down pat (mostly resonating of his front teeth, good breath control and lots of power) and he can add a good amount of distortion if needed. But I wouldn't compare him to Floor. Floor is the master of many different techniques and she uses that great arsenal of hers to express and convey her emotions. In that regard she is in a different league than most singers, including Tommy, as good as he is.

Don't you love swedish viking power. Tommy has an exceptional range up high. And Scorpios are great..I am one too. Actually warmed up I can reach that high but I have to go fully to my headvoice. In mixed...no chance

As i'm sure that you're aware of, Tommy plays guitar in Sabaton, and i remember an interview with the singer about his training and background, and he said "I'm not a singer, it just happened. Tommy is by far the best singer in the band". He is very talented, both instrumentally and vocally.

Yes Tommy is the guitar player for Sabaton and also the drummer for Sabaton is married to Floor from Night Wish. There is a video of Tommy describing how he does his video. It's so cool. It's called ( Behind The Scenes 2022 ) and it has Easter Eggs,,,& What happened ? He has a funny faces on it. You can't miss it. Thought you would enjoy it. So cool & funny.

The crazy thing here is when Tommy begins to sing he's on the same note that most singers reach at the song's climax! When Tommy reaches climax he's way higher than what most singers could only dream of!! He can't be one of us he must be from another world or something. I can totally relate to to your reaction. My first Tom y song was a christmas song o helga natt wich is the Swedish version of o holy night and he just blew me away. I have been on the Tommy wagon ever since and can't get off. He is an absolute amazingly insanely talented guy and that Swedish viking look....very easy on the eyes too😍. Seriously I don't see anyone out there who is so good as Tommy is. He should be a uperstar...although I am glad he is not. He is such a nice down to earth guy . I would like to keep him that way

Tommy is a very talented multi instrumentalist and singer extraordinaire. Tommy has his own group Majestica, where he is lead singer. With Sabaton he generally only does backing vocals (unbelievable) and as you stated one of the lead guitarists. Of course I guess you know, Sabaton, is the group Floor’s husband (Hannes van Dahl) plays drums for. Quite the rabbit hole with those groups and individual covers. ❤️🤘🎻🇦🇺. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi, nice that you like his voice and appearance. But you should follow his page. Because there you will be completely yourself as he has a voice regeist that is out of this world!. He plays both bass, keyboard, guitar, drums and he more or less produces everything himself. He is in a band in Sweden called Sabbaton, they play viking rock! Roughly like heavy power food

I was astounded the first time I heard this song from Tommy. My cheeks hurt from smiling Debbie! Tommy is so cheeky! I can't sing like this. No way. Tommy may actually comment on your reaction. :))) Your enthusiasm is contagious, Debbie! In these years since I have been consistently listening to Nightwish's music, I first understood that they have created a real musical universe. But over time I began to discover other musical universes, which sometimes intersect, and sometimes intertwine in unexpected ways. Everything evolves around the Metal genre, although the differences are sometimes enormous. Sabaton appeared independently of Nightwish, but their musical paths crossed several times, resulting in interesting collaborations. As far as I know, Floor has at least 2 consistent collaborations with Sabaton (The Future of Warfare - Soundtrack Version and Christmas Truce - ending credits), and Tommy Johansson participated in the orchestration and instrumental interpretation of some of Floor's covers from lockdown.

Debbie, an octave is twice the frequency, or half if you have an octave down. Oct - 8, there are 8 notes in our musical scale.

Surely, Tommy isn't the ONLY thing you've been missing haha!! Tommy is incredible...what a voice he has! You should hear all of his covers...he has done many on his channel. All of them are great. His other band, Majestica, is also excellent. I think he is a better singer than Sabaton's main vocalist, but they have a certain sound that lends itself to their main singer. Tommy's voice is more suitable to Majestica IMO. Tommy hits some incredibly high notes...just wait til you've heard all of his songs. Cheers! PS...you will also be blown away by Leprous when you eventually react to them. And I think only Dimash can hit higher notes than Tommy btw.

You Raise Me Up" is a song originally composed by the Norwegian-Irish duo Secret Garden. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland, and the lyrics by Brendan Graham back in 2001. Josh Groban sing it in 2003, 2 year later than Secret Garden. Secret Garden win the Eurovision with another song called nocturne.

Love your reaction, Debbie. He have a great voice, almost as a male version of Floor. And he have a bunch of great songs on his chanel, for example Phantom of the opera. And just you he is really humble and have great humor. Be careful with your heart, either he will kill you or breake your heart.
