I'm completely baffled at how well written a fucking Minecraft roleplay is. Because holy shit wasting hours trying to catch up was totally worth it.

Tommy acting was amazing in this. The way he panics whenever someone touches him because it brings him back to trauma from dream...just wow. I'm really enjoying Tommy's character in the server.

Something that people seem to always miss about Tommy's character is how much he hates change and feeling alienated. As soon as he got out of the prison, he just wanted to get back to his regular life but people kept treating him as if he weren't real, or as if he were some sort of magic act they wanted to learn more about, and that's so sad, man. It happens in exile to, when people start visiting him only to pity him. But the saddest part is that, despite Tommy not wanting people to alienate him or treat him differently, he literally died and spent two months in hell. He's got major PTSD. And he wants somebody to help him (hopefully Puffy) but at the same time, he doesn't want to be babied or pitied or just seen as less than himself. So interested to see what happens next!! Ahhh im excited

I love Quackity's response? The shift from deadly serious, demanding the person to stop dressing up as a deceased person so Tommy can be respected from being hysterically happy among finding out he's alive shows how much he cares for and cares about Tommy. It's so sweet.

I can’t get over how good his acting is! In the first half every time Sam would get out of his field of vision he would anxiously say sams name. He has abandonment issues and more trauma simply because Sam left him there with his abused for so long. Even though he continually insults Sam, he still looks for him and doesn’t want him to leave. EDIT: also the block never fails to traumatize tommy

i really like how tommy portrays his character's ptsd and trauma. it's a lot more realistic than just being a sad boi all the time. he gets angry and lashes out and while that's not particularly fair of him, it's understandable. i just think he does a really great job with the character

god, I absolutely love the direction that Tommy is taking his character. Being afraid of pain? It's just not what I could have ever seen him doing, and it's so fucking cool. It makes so much sense too! To not want to go back, to be precautionary to the point of his own torture and demise. I fucking love it. There is no words for how cool this is. Not to mention how much you can see that Tommy hates being alone, that he hates being alienated, to be the center of attention, to be looked at differently. Maybe a long time ago, in a different life, Tommy constantly would have tried to get everyones attention, but now, after being the center of Dream's attention for so long, all he wants to do is blend in to the background. He doesn't want to stand out. He wants to be like everyone else, they seem to be moving on! Having a good time! Why can't he be like them? Idk man, it's just.. It's so cool. :)

Tommy's acting just gets better and better. His character is so interesting, flawed, so obviously the hero of his own story. It's also cool how distinct the character has become from irl Tommy, and how well the trauma & emotions are acted out. There's nothing really like Tommy's streams on twitch right now. It's amazing

It makes sense though, Tommy keeps saying "Why does everyone believe I'm dead?". Dream treated Tommy's death and resurrection like it was nothing, that probably affected Tommy's way of seeing it. So I guess Tommy sees his resurrection somewhat similarly meanwhile everyone else can't believe it of course because he was announced dead I think

(last vod) c!tommy: "it's like i'm still dead, even the people that care about me treat me differently! i'm just a science experiment to them!" it's so creepy how c!tommy seems to have internalised c!dream's rhetoric, and that his friends' understandable confusion at seeing him alive is making him draw parallels to how c!dream treated his resurrection

The portrayal of PTSD in this stream is amazing. C!Tommy didn't know everyone thought he was dead and then learned from Sam but still struggles to accept it really happened. He can't handle taking damage as it gives him flashbacks back to getting beaten to death, how C!Tommy freaks out when someone holds a weapon. He's loud and blames Sam as before he SAID he trusted Sam with his life despite his prison persona but in Tommy's POV Sam put his prison persona and locked Tommy up with his abuser (in the fictional story!) and allowed him to be beaten to death and then tortured in the afterlife! Tommy lashes out and strives for any kind of normality after having Dream call his death an experiment, Dream said he wanted to experiment on Tommy do become immortal ignoring Tommy's distress. So when everyone starts asking him questions Tommy feels like he's back there with Dream again..a ''freak'', an ''experiment'', now everyone being confused is understandable but Tommy is struggling to cope with a traumatic experience. He dismisses Jack because he knows that Dream is bigger threat and going to hurt the entire server. Also after being trapped with Dream for weeks and one of the first things Jack stays is ''You deserved to die.'', then it's no wonder Tommy tuned him out! He dissociated from the conversation because, Dream tells Tommy he deserved things like his treatment in exile which was emotional abuse so when someone else tells Tommy he deserves death which in Tommy's POV is saying that he deserved to be beaten to death by his abuser and experience the afterlife which we know his equal to ''torture'', so since before when someone told him he deserved awful treatment they were abusing him when Jack said he deserved to die it triggered a trauma response so his brain dissociated from the conversation to protect itself from more trauma! This is a REAL THING according to a paper by Ruth A. Lanius, MD, PhD , James W. Hopper, PhD the definition of dissociation is a common feature of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)''. I love how Tommy is beaten down by still strives to be a GOOD person, he still makes mistakes and after trauma he doesn't react uwu why is the world swo mwean two mwe, he reacts realistically with dissociation, flashbacks, confusion, fear, angry, and lashing out! Tommy's character is so well done and everyone's acting in this stream was so brilliant! Everyone's reactions were justified (Accept for C!Dream) and realistic!! This is one of favorite streams yet, thank you so much Tommyinnit!

Tommy, your character is fantastic and this portrayal of trauma is so realistic. This, coming from someone with PTSD, I'm really proud of the way you're acting this out and I truly admire it. Keep it up, kid. Remember there are many, many people who appreciate the story you're trying to tell and always will.

I really like how Tommy’s character very realistically carries with him what has happened before. How many TV show characters just move on from something tragic like nothing has happened? It’s a really nice touch that adds a lot to the character
