@@cameroncorbin7717 oh I’m sure his “methods” are far more brutal than Tommy, I’m just saying Tommy’s a better soldier and probably better at killing overall, not by much, but he’s got a bit more skill where Joel relies a lot on his physical strength.

@@UndefeatedDeathDebunkedYou I just mean because Joel has solely survived off of his instinct and raw strength, and later as those things weren’t as reliable he had his years of skill to fall back on, where Tommy not only has similar experience to Joel, but also fought for the Fireflies against FEDRA an actual organized Military group, so I’d say Joel and Tommy are probably evenly matched if not Tommy being a bit better due to more experience and raw skill, and of course cause he’s a few years younger.

@@blakeandthecake4368 true but you are missing some things Joel did not just survive off instincts and strength or was also his way of thinking and iq If you do not know being more powerful than someone such as being more buff being faster hitting harder does not really matter because to survive in the verse you need to be smart and think logically this is perfectly shown with Tommy vs Abby and manny abby and manny had numbers and together they had powerful with more of a arsenal but they were almost killed by packs of infected due to Tommy and later tommy outplayed them causing manny to die So things like being stronger faster does not matter So saying joel survived if his strength is not true It’s also not true joel just survived off thst Joel himself has loads of experience with many hunter groups it’s how he knew the hunters were trying to set up Joel mainly survived off his way of thinking Tommy should be a better shot as Tommy is shown being effective at his rifle so I would say tommy does have better weapon mastery and accuracy Tommy might be faster as well due to Joel being a old man But overrall I think Joel is better Joel was infamous and entire hunter groups feared him in the start of the game yoj can see how scared the hunters were if Joel and Tess Joel shot up the fireflies who have loads of perks and abilities shown with factions MP Joel is just very smart and tactical with his thinking And the feats show his skill I mean shooting up the firefly base is not something to brush for the firefly’s have loads of perks in factions MP and were going vs military

Talking as an older sibling, tommy and joels relationship as brothers is one of the best ive ever seen from media. No matter how much they fight, or say that hate each other, there's always some place in their hearts that cares for each other. Joels death unleashed the hidden rage inside of tommy after knowing his older brother died so brutally, did his plans backfire? Yes, but i dont think he regrets it either.
