I finally got my hands on the sought after Hasbro Lightning Collection Master Mopher...the only problem is, it doesn't work all the time.
Luckily I was able to get the electronics working long enough to do a full unboxing and review of this iconic power morpher. This was the last official power rangers project that JDF worked on and he provided his voice acting skills to give the morpher the perfect tommy oliver representation.
When it works, it is a wonderful piece of power rangers history. when it doesn't work, boy is it just frustrating! Sharing the overall design of the original mighty morphin power rangers moprher / dino buckler, this looks fantastic.
We'll take a look at the box, the buckle, stand, power coins and morpher. we'll test the different features (until it decides to break) and then we'll do a quick comparison between the official lightning collection master morpher and a custom converted legacy master morpher.
Hasbro has already had some quality control issues and there are some we'll get into with this morpher - but do you guys still think they did a good job?
This is the last item in Hasbro's Lightning Collection at least until 2024, did they do it justice? Is it a fine addition to Hasbro’s mighty morphin power rangers (MMPR) line?

Got mine from my friend when he went Singapore, came out pretty well if I say so myself. sucks to hear about the issues you are having. I'm honestly so happy to finally get my hands on one after so many years.

Nice! Don’t get me wrong, like I said in the video I’m genuinely happy I’ve got one and consider myself lucky given how hard hasbro made it to get them..just can’t help being disappointed that there are quite so many issues with mine

I don't like the plastic plates. I thought for this Morpher they would use metal again. I am happy that I bought mine for 70 bucks and not for 300 € on eBay. Those scammers are disgusting

As much as I have wanted a master morpher this feels similar to the original morpher they released where they overkill it with sounds and features that I don’t need cause that is becoming a problem on the roleplay items in general like the weapons that have also been released and with their version of the mmpr morpher it’s actually bigger than the original Bandai America release from 1993 that I still have and from what I have heard that was decayed from the factory upside down so the 1993 version isn’t perfect either but is more show accurate due to the show often using the actual toys as props especially when they would toss the mmpr morpher around in a scene that called for it instead of worrying about damaging an expensive prop morpher

But the legacy, you bought the other coins outside the original packaging the legacy is only white and green

Yeah the legacy one is a converted red ranger movie morpher. The gold plates and coins are from starlight studios (+ the green lense) and the decals are from BD15

Just opened mine and 3 coins make an electric buzz like the Morpher has nothing in it. Then 2 coins think they are the wrong coin. Think reaching out to Hasbro would do anything?

Ah man that sucks I’m so sorry 😞 keep trying them, the morpher might ‘heal’ itself - with my original lightning morpher it did that electric buzz with the coins and I just had to keep putting them in…50/50 chance they work now…sometimes they registered the wrong ranger. It’s worth contacting hasbro but I’ve seen other people with the similar problem to you - and even some who got doubles of coins instead of the full set - and they contacted hasbro about it. Unfortunately because hasbro did this as a limited run and don’t have anymore in their stock they’ve offered refunds rather than replacements 😞 always worth trying though - let me know if you need me to find the contact details for you 👍

Yeah mine’s suffered a few scratches unfortunately - it’s the problem with this type of chrome plating unfortunately. Are yours bad?

@@order66collectiblesFrom what I was seeing and watching, it's the original morpher. If you search it on KZfaq you can watch a video of it. It's so dope, size is perfect, sounds perfect, no voices. Plus it's history as it's from the show what brought us Power Rangers.
