If you look closely, Tommy has cleaned up his FH technique a bit. His movement is excellent as always! If he gets lucky with the draw, we could see him in the quarters or semis. Keep it going big man!

Thought the same thing. For someone to be able to stay a pro tennis player for more than a decade, they need to be absolutely world class. Imagine saying no to a career like Tsonga’s, Nalbandian’s, or Ferrer’s

I think the problem with Barreré is that he doesn't have at least one weapon. Serve not strong enough to S&V. Isn't nimble enough to grind it out. No real threat from either wing.

The only thing I can say is that all that horde of American players who currently play tennis, like this Tommy Paul, will never win a GS, they do not have the mentality and that spark to achieve it, They are lazy and fickle. I don't know, but I don't see them as holding up a GS trophy. IMHO!
