...Oh my GOD... I was AT this filming!! ...It was (supposedly) for a UK TV Special, (filmed) Fall of 1993....Ru had a single-only release of the tune, and Janet Jackson was supposed to be a guest star on the Special...they filmed, this OVER, OVER, and OVAH!! ...So much so, Ru said, "..I think I've, 'rum-pa-pum-pummed', my ASS off!!" ...ha-HAAA!! (CONT.) ...The manger scene (3:50), was the ONLY shot that wasn't filmed endlessly.... then Ru came out and took Pics with the audience and was tall, tall, TALL!! ...Her hip came up to my HEAD, and I'm 5'8"!! ...HA-HAAA!! ..Wonderful 90's moment, for me....

Cj I am former model actress dancer and I still perform as a musician I am also a former beauty pageant queen and also served as a senior pageant queen and was just crowned again as one I want ru Paul to know this is a beautiful rendition he did I am also a straight woman but I al so believe in giving credit where it is due he really deserves an Oscar in the music for this. Apparently the music exec's had a say so in this video, although the music and singing is on point, the white drummer boy, Mary & Joseph screams of 80/90's America. There is no one in Israel or surrounding areas that has caucasion complexions. Everyone is at the very least well tanned. Jesus was not white & I doubt that he was very dark skinned either, but for sure he was rocking some great brown skin!

Yeah this was either filmed in the early 00's or late 90's I forget the first time it aired exactly but I remember it pissed a lot of people off because a Drag Queen was among the nativity...

@@CartoonHero1986 Yea I remember that now that I read your comment. RuPaul took a lot of hits in the early days. He found the highest success but the price was high. He is very thick-skinned and I always liked him, in and out of character.
