You ask really good questions tbh, asking about the actual physical work aspect of being a sex worker is such a good topic that literally no one talks about. They have to walk in those heels, all day long, and they have to perform, for guy after guy, multiple guys at a time, and then go do it all again. It must take such a huge physical toll as well as a mental one. Its not like P*rn where you do a shoot, go home and rest, you get no breaks on the streets. Its also so telling that when you ask almost every pimp or sex worker about how they got into it, they have similar answers. Family, friends, broken homes, abuse. Most of them dont know another way of life, and theyre so stuck in this way of life that they cant get out. Its addictive as fuck, trying to go 'live a normal life' after only knowing that is so difficult. Its addictive. Genuinely clicked thinking itd be some exploitative dude harrassing these women but was met w a quality documentary where you let the women just be and talk freely, and where you ask really good questions that they actually want to answer yk?

@@humpteedumptee8629 You mean her pimp does? Or her dealer? You realize that she has nothing right? I've known girls who were working the streets, and they often live in cheap motel rooms with a handful of things that they own. And even those things they lose at least once a year. A girl I know was held captive in a hotel room for a month as a literal sex slave, and when he moved her in the car to Baltimore she escaped. I didn't even believe her, but I found the newspaper article with her name and his. They get killed often too. You hear the pimp say that they don't take dates with certain dudes? How you think someone's gonna react being turned down by a hoe? The only working girls making money are the ones working for the agencies, and they pay the agency to do it. @@thespiritualstripper I'm no expert, but I would think that having more time with the prostitutes would give you more time to be able to build a rapport and make it more likely they would accept help? You don't have to actually book her. By arresting, you can also take them away from their pimp. But if all you can do is write a ticket at the side of the road, no time to do anything but financially penalize them. Now...that's assuming anyone actually takes the time to help them once at the precinct. Which I doubt rarely, if ever, happens. But that would be ideal.

@@thespiritualstripperbut we can’t just decriminalize without regulation, which they have done here. It needs to be legalized so it can be legally regulated. As someone who was trafficked, this is really interesting to watch. That first lady was right, the pimps are about the lowest of the low taking advantage of women in vulnerable positions. That dude didn’t seem like the brightest bulb, nor the most successful but a lot of the things he said were the same sorts of things that were said to me. “I’m out there risking MY life for YOU.” Among other things.. the part about African American johns I found most curious. I wasn’t allowed to see any either. I went into a friend’s house (a black man) after he found me posted online and pretended to be a client so he could bring me there and see if I was okay, and try to help me. I didn’t realize my pimp saw me go inside and saw him.. he was calling me immediately, screaming at me for going inside and telling me I had to leave. He beat me and screamed in my face about being stupid and having a death wish. He was also a black man himself. Im honestly curious about the real reasons for them saying this.

Most of these girls are trafficked by their pimp. The gorilla pimp keeps them trapped by fear, intimidation, and threats. The Romeo pimp traps them with what they perceive as love, which isn’t love at all when you send them to the streets to do this. A high percentage of these girls have been in foster homes, don’t have family, or their family is a mess! I used to approach these girls on the streets (with a highly trained and organized group) to offer them a way out, a hug, and/or a prayer. The stories we were told were truly heartbreaking. Most of the girls were really sweet and had dreams for their life.

I wasnt cool with it, spent a week trying to talk her into leaving that life behind, so she moved along. I kept in touch with her by facebook, she got straight and moved to a better life, hope my words finally helped convince her and it just took awhile.

No offense to you at all, and I'm not saying to hate on them or anything. But realize that many of these women are straight ruthless, and would set up you up to be beaten and robbed in a split second. Did you see how Tommy acted when the first girl was texting on her phone? He's paying her good easy money to talk, and she's giving him an area to take her to & talking to someone on her phone. Not a good sign because she should be paying attention to him, but he's got cash on him she could easily be setting him up to get run up on when he drops her off. But she could just be trying to connect with her dealer because she's got cash in hand. You don't know, but you don't ever relax because all you are is a way to get something she needs, no matter what.

We all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for us, so that we may have everlasting life. Now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and you will you be saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read Bible, pray for Jesus to reveal Himself to you and change you, seek to do what is right according to the Bible. Much love and God bless.

I used to live on 69th & Fig in some apartments & there was a motel next to where I lived where the prostitutes used to go so I would see them all the time coming from school. One day coming from school, this big ass pimp at least 6’5 tall & probably 300 lbs slapped a girl so hard in front of me. I wanted to say something but I was only in middle school at the time & I just hear the prostitute crying behind as I kept walking towards my house.
