It was so evident Logan was really trying to live vicariously through Tommy's life: Logan sees how much potential Tommy has to grow and become even greater than even himself and the fact that Tommy has different aspirations and goals in life left him so frustrated. 9:05 it was joked that Tommy was running the podcast and having complete control, and multiple times, he asks questions, he changes the topic, he asks for the others in put. An example is when he was asked why he was so confident and be immediately asked for the others opinions. And at 11:01 he just staright up asks logan what ever question he wanted and changed the topic. And he controled the questioning of the topic And i realised he only answerd about half the questions. If that. He is amazing at redirecting and avoiding questions he finds uncomfortable

Ok, 30 minutes in, this kid is brilliant.. He gets goated into situation where he would seem weak, vulnerable, but never lets the 2 other guys do it, he immediately changes the situation by decreasing the worth of the words they are saying (cant think of the word). Logan Paul and the other guy try to seem wise and cultured because of age, but this kid is not having any of it, and shows us they are just 2 guys who have no more value than him. Brilliant. I'm 99% sure he either learnt this and picked it up from somewhere.

I'm so impressed with the way Tommy handles himself. He's a kid talking to these adults, and famous ones at that, and they keep bringing up doing drugs and getting into trouble and he just effortlessly makes having fun with friends and having a good relationship with your parents sound like the cooler option. He does what all those school anti-drug programs can only dream of.

I think the fact that Tommy is mentored by Phil and Wilbur is one of the reasons why he is the way he is. You can really see how they influence him in the best of ways, keep him modest, humble and down to earth but not taking any shit from the internet. Tommy too is very thick-skinned and has a very go with the flow kind of attitude that with the addition of his comedic genius makes him very unique and if he can keep up that self-awareness bro...he's got success in the bag.

It's more the case where Tommy was trying to take every question at the start as a joke and they weren't able to build proper segways into other topic of conversations like they used to, so they ran out of questions earlier on. And tommy's like why are you asking me these random questions. They never really found a good flow in conversation, and you can tell logan ws getting frustrated by tommy's dead end answers by the end. Still enjoyed it at the beginning though.

Tommy is completely right in the sense that people his age understand him. As an older teenager myself, I know a lot of us are introverted and awkward to people we don't know, yet when we open up we can be genuine fun. His channel is just Tommy thriving in his most confident state with his friends, and it's nice to see how 'nerdy internet kids' can be succesful.

I think people like Tommy can only happen because of internet culture in the age of KZfaq. You can be in one nation and get a pretty comprehensive intake of the cultures of other places, heck, my American accent got British-ified in early highschool by how much UK content I was consuming, I can only imagine the cross-cultural comedic aptitude of people like Tommy where that stuff has been in place and accessible since day one.
