The new HOI4 DLC, By Blood Alone, is out and what's a better way to try out all the new features than playing the best country in HOI4, Germany.
With huge changes in air, planes and officers, the NEW Germany in BBA will be the perfect example of trying out all these new features in Hearts of Iron 4!
Soon Tommy will get into the new Italy, Ethiopia and Switzerland stuff, but as is tradition with every new HOI4 DLC, we gotta do a Germany game.

DLC : adds 4 new focus trees and new nation "aussa counts despite it being a ethiopian-freed specific vanilla tree"..such as a italian rework also tommy : plays Germany

The medals and achievements for your divisions is really good for roleplay.. Now when you capture important cities in a long war your divisions actually get bonuses and recognition for the things they've done instead of it just being a "wow this division has been through a lot"

I think Hoi4 needs a free update that just harmonizes every focus tree. This is mainly in regards TFV and DoD, but there are a fair bit of focus trees that look and feel old and archaic compared to their newer counterparts.

This is just a prediction but the general consensus rn seems to be that agility is secondary while air attack is more important bc agility was nerfed, so the best thing to do is probably to just shit on agility in favour of air attack

Idk, 100 air wing width was what I always did. Put down 800, split 3 times with D key and bam ya got 8 hundred width cas or fighters. Can do with 400 or 200 if you don't have the amount and just reduce the splits accordingly. Never was much of a problem.

It's been extensively tested and people had found out that 100 width worked best for fighters, and 1000 for basically everything else (especially CAS).

@TommyKay - A question for you good sir! I do not know if you know but in Italy's new focus tree in the air section you can get jet fighters. You can actually rush it pretty quickly, There is only one focus midway that demands that you are at war with a major. But lets say in MP you as Italy go to war with Germany, to bypass this lock, and then white peace with Germany using the new diplomacy system. Then the entire axis can have jet fighters before 1939. That seems a bit overpowered do you now think so as well? (of course there is the downside of messing up Italy's Economy a bit).

For some reason im using the Xbox version of HOI 4 and after the update my game crashed after each peace conference, this happened always and i could not fix it, did anyone else run into this problem and is there a fix, i quite literally can't find anyone on the internet. Oh btw i was spectating the game and the peace conferences were small, between 2 countries.
