In this video we go over the Nike GT Jump 2:
Cushioning remains as the main selling point of this model from the Greater Than series. A deluxe setup featuring stacked up Zoom Air, full-length Zoom Strobel, Nike React and a jump plate - the result: crazy cushion & bounce while also being comfortable without causing a lot of soreness. Traction is average at best, and I would recommend avoiding this shoe if you’re someone who’s prone to rolling your ankle. True to size fit, heavier than average weight, and standard width.
Overall, I consider this a more playable, and easier to use option compared to the first GT Jump.

Not for me- I’m 200lbs and need the cushioning. But- not at the sacrifice of flexibility/freedom in my feet.

It’s a good shoe especially for dunkers, the cushioning has trampoline effect, heel to toe transition is so smooth, less foot pain & soreness cause it’s less stiff than the 1st one, the 1st one Pebax Jumpframe is just too stiff

I‘ve had my LeBron XX (the red with gold accents) now for quite some time and i absolutely love it. Its still very sticky even though i play on quite dirty/dusty gym floors (obviously they get cleaned but where i live many institutions use the court during the week & weekend, even some schools so yk it just gets alot of engagement). Anyway i am looking to stay the same/maybe even upgrade and i‘m not 100% sure if i should pull the trigger on these. The features seem decent, especially the bounce (I mainly play volleyball these days) is something i hope to improove on from my previous shoes sice i feel there‘s definitely some potential there. But yh im not quite sold especially because that color scheme is absolutely atrocious but i‘d put up with it if the shoe is actually worth it. I guess accepting these weird ass colors and strange designs is a requirement with these newer gen shoes because they‘re too dumb to just manufacture a few colorways to choose from. Anyway, lmk if i should or if you‘ve got an opinion that’s relevant here, ty!

I had the same experience, GT JUMP 1 was like playing in ankle brace with side stabilizers, or a ski shoe. too much of a plastic construction. GT 2 is smooth, bouncy with very forgiving cushion setup

I think these will be solid! I want to wait and see what other colorways come out, but do enjoy the look of the Jump 1s better. I do think the lateral support doesn't seem as good as the ones, but think part of that is due to the lack of caging. I thought they'd at least cage the react a bit in the heel, but am intrigued with this shoe nonetheless.

The potential problem I see with this is it being unstable in the heel with all that react… but other than that, everything seems amazing!

Had a pair of GT2 and returned them back to Nike - outsole was damaged after 2 or 3 trainings... just lost part of outsole near the red air unit, it's thin there. Also noticed that they are quite unstable. Will rather buy WOW 10.

Really love your videos. I have a little question, what is the fit in the G.T CUT 2s?. Usually I have the 9 size (27 cm) in any other shoes, like giannis immortality or zoom FREAK 4 and didn't like the snug fit in curry 9s. You're my solid reference to choose my size 😅 Thanks for all

Hey thanks for the trust! As a reference I went true to size with the GT Cut 2, same size as my Zoom Freak 4 for example. But the fit on those is a little bit tricky, cause it kinda had the toe box problem that some people experienced on the Jordan 36, where their pinky toes were hurting. For me true to size was just fine, but that shoe will take quite some time to break in and get used to honestly… Not a typical Nike hoop shoe court feel.

I don’t think the first GT Cut would be available anywhere for retail, at least not that I know of 😂 I would drive across the border and buy multiple pairs if they had it lol suchhh a great shoe.

I haven’t played in the LeBron 21 and KD 16 yet. But I’m pretty sure the GT Jump 2 is going to be one of the best options for a rebounder, if not THE BEST.
