Update on the Joe situation?

I was feeling a mandella effect on the font and certain lines like "really really liked" instead of "loved" and then when Kliff mentioned € instead of $ an hour and 4 minutes I could finally rest knowing these were certainly regional changes in the game

​​@@adamkampenWhy DOES the font look like that though? Like I played the UK ver (on a physical cart, sure) and it didn't look like that... maybe it's just the mainland Europe ver that looks like that.

I'm a few months late to answering the font question, but the font is basically a side effect of playing the game on an emulator. For whatever reason (as in I literally don't know the reason) the font on 3ds emulators are weird and don't look the way they're supposed to.

Especially with Miitopia makeup

Hope they let us import our Miitopia mii's without having to painstakingly remaking them

Miitopia is a pretty awesome successor all things considered, especially the switch port but I agree I'd also love to see Tomodachi Life come to Switch 2? when it comes out. Hopefully with less gendered options which is a great QOL fix they made when creating Miitopia, because I do not want to have to make my Mii into a girl again just for partner options. Also yeah echo what everyone else is saying about having it maybe have a tie in with Miitopia for design reasons. Like maybe Miis can go off to Tomodachi Life to relax, and can come back if they want to adventure in Miitopia again. Plus that might give us Miitopia DLC like new classes/worlds to explore/superboss fights which I crave. Plus some new content for Tomodachi Life along with a graphics update which is everything considering the base game is already so good.

i have a theory that they won't do this because one time they said they'd put gay people in the next tomodachi life and they're too afraid to actually do it

Apparently a mod that removes all gendered language dropped recently which is pretty badass, will defo try it out when I come back to this game

@@Mechanicalamity that's the names of the two meerkats from Compare the Market (I assume that's the meerkat you're talking about) There's an entire ad backstory about how the two of them got given a baby meerkat Harry potter style, and then they had to work together to care for a child despite both being, in essence, middle aged men. They're a relic from the early 2000s to 2010s where ads were off the wall crazy.
