THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, at the end scene I was literally getting chills down my spine and I am pretty sure I cried a little too. This is a perfect example of the amazing things you can do with this game, I still have no idea how some of these shots were able to be caught and its fun to figure it out but other than that the vocals and the music and the story!! AHHH I could praise this for so long! Outstanding work!

You have never failed to catch the essence of this game and what this game represents to its players. Your skill with telling a story has no limits. There is singing in this, yes, but even if this story was conveyed with no words, at all, I still would not fail to understand it. I do not use this word often nor lightly, but this.....is.....perfect. Both the game and KZfaq are made better by your visions and creations. My tears are proof of what you have accomplished.

Outstanding camera work, it's amazing and professional, the storytelling and connecting multiple stories like this is something you always pulled of beautifully! The music and songs are just such a banger and the vocals made me cry! The editing and cuts were just breath taking, again, extremely professional!! この短編映画を初めて見たとき、自分はFF14を遊んですらいなかったから、なんだかいい雰囲気の映像だなあとしか理解できていませんでした。問題集を解く前にその答えだけを見てしまったようなズルさに耐えられなかった。だから足りないものを知りたかった。この動画が、自分がエオルゼアに行くきっかけでした。へっぽこ白魔導士は機工士になったり園芸師になったりして、およそ半年ほどかけてパッチ5.3までを戦士で完了した今、この短編映画がどれほど素晴らしいか、以前よりわかる気がしています。ゲーム本編のすばらしさももちろんですが、この動画が5.3までの自分の冒険を支えてくれました。闇の戦士の諸先輩がたに深く感謝申し上げます。この度は本当にありがとうございました。あなたがたの人生という冒険に幸多からんことを祈ります。

Had this in an open tab for so long, just trying to get the nerve to watch it! Knew it was gonna be full of feels, but I had no idea that it would be that powerful. Thank you so much for creating this. Not just this video but all your other videos too. You put so much work into them and they always come out stunning and incredible. I started crying halfway through this one. The emotion it evoked was something else. Not just the clips themselves but also the story itself, the music picked and the gorgeous singing. THIS IS SO STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL. The editing is absolutely flawless and so everything is captured and filmed so well, it left me in complete awe! And the MUSIC! The music was incredible, I loved the arrangement with the vocals so much, and the vocalists were so lovely to listen to! This is such an amazing work of art, I cried so hard at the end! Oh my god, this is INCREDIBLE! The entire cinematography and the pacing and the way the story is told is just amazing, it's done so well that you really feel for every character involved. My only little quibble is that there should have been an effect or something to symbolise the "flashback" portions as I got a little muddled on what was happening (the Dancer's portion mainly, as we went from seeing her running down the stairs to then looking like she was suddenly with her Miqo'te friends until I realised) Overall, this is simply fantastic work. It feels like if FFXIV and Studio Ghibli had a baby, including the songs was a nice touch :D

@@SaikaDarkmoon they're not using mods, actually! I believe JP players (most, not all) look down very heavily on modding and I believe Mameko-san themself said that making these videos are possible with the in-game tools given via "lots of patience, time and research". They only use gshade/reshade, gpose, (to get some of these shots, they could also have "cameramen" in game, i.e using third person mode), and whatever high end video editing software.

Love all Zanekonpu shorts, and so many of them bring me to tears, this one wasn't exception. Wish I could like again and again when i been comming to watch it once more, but once I can't been trying to show to as many XIV friends I can to allow them to share some extra love.
