In today's video we have a full on day... the 2nd cut silage clamp is empty, we have to move some young cows around and we have to bring ALL 120 milking cows in side ready for winter!

Tom when I was young I thought I was invincible. An old cowboy gave me a bad time about keeping better care of myself, as when older, it all catches up on you. Trust me it does. Get some disposable face masks for when you are spreading the chemical and fine sawdust. Some of it is going into your lungs. Really like your videos, count the days to the next one.

Totally agree. I was thinking the same thing when I saw him spreading that chemical on the bedding. He needs to protect himself and his staff against chemical exposure. ❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸

I am not a farmer nor do I know anyone who has a cow or even a goat. But I have learned so much from watching your videos. Also, anything that I have seen is movies and they are about the son wanting to move away from being a farmer. It is really nice watching you absolutely enjoy your job, working with your dad,and the cows. And I have especially haven't seen a younger farmer get so excited to put money back into the the family farm. Way to go Tom.👍 Don't let Heidi see this email because it is full of errors!

I was just going to put the same warning 😬 Breathing in the fine particles is not good for your lungs. Please wear a mask of some description x x

Even more so a mask for the Tex stuff as it seems very fine and you really don't know what chemicals the product contains

Without a mask any fine powder will be inhaled and will damage the lungs and Also wear gloves to keep off your skin.

I was going to say the same thing as you guys really is important to wear a mask 😷 for those dusty jobs I get wheezy just looking at that as I’m an asthma sufferer so unfortunately know the dangers only to well. Great video Tom.

As you said Tom the cows tell you when they want to come in and they did. Ours were in a week before yours as the grass wasn't keeping up and they were beginning to make a mess. nice video Tom

We still have our cows out in western Germany. Had luck in October as it was not too wet. We also have a 60 years old barn. Hopeing to have them out for at least 2 more week😁

I was a bit taken aback by the comment 'I know its not god to have them in' I love those cow sheds I want to build one for my tiny little odd ball group, horse, mini horse and a goat. right now I have a winter area, fenced with a shelter about 30' by 15'. It works but a cow shed like the one you put the young stock in would be awesome ;). I keep buying lotto tickets, haven't won yet lol

There are loads of farms near me, one keeps cows out all year and they are so miserable, so wet and cold, the other farm keeps them in all year and these are also as miserable. There is one that is similar to yours with bringing them in and letting them out in the spring, those cows are in much better condition and seem miles happier. Keep doing what your doing bro, :)
