hi Tom! I’m stopping back to tell you I just tried your instructions and it worked like a charm! I can’t tell you what a game changer this is! I thought I needed to adopt a whole new streaming platform in order to stream to Facebook and KZfaq simultaneously. You have just shown me that I already have that capability within Zoom. I cannot thank you enough. I’ll be sharing your video with my fellow Yoga teachers on FB. 😊😊 I’m saving your video link because I know I’ll be returning to it often.

Thank you for this very thorough explanation and demonstration. It appears from your demo that KZfaq is much easier to navigate when Zoom streaming and with better results. Facebook has quite a long delay and your sound didn’t sync with the video. Think I’ll stick with live-streaming to KZfaq for now but like the ability to stream to 2 platforms at once. Also appreciate seeing how you create a custom stream so I can bypass opening my channel up to Zoom. Great job! 😊

Thanks for the comment. I think KZfaq streams better quality, but I'm doing an online conference in a couple of weeks with a group that has 20,000 followers on Facebook so... it is what it is. I'm going to stream to both. I used the KZfaq login (and gave Zoom control over my channel 😱) and I will admit it was cool to have the comments from KZfaq come into Zoom, but after about an hour it started generating errors. So I think I'm gonna stick to Custom Stream.

Hi Tom, there are various other streaming platforms. Does something like Streamyard serve a purpose, or can you simply use Zoom?

Good question. Zoom “LIVE Streaming” App only works to send a Zoom meeting or a Zoom webinar to two different platforms. If I wanted to LIVE Stream some other event (let’s say the output of a video switcher) then I would need something like Streamyard.
