One thing that is really important to understand is that Amy was the leader. They got together on a restart in a racing incident. Tomy spun and then waited for her to come back around. This clip picks up when Amy caught him again.

Don't know if TV got it but there was also a garage-area ramming after the race which resulted in a totalled Corvette in the garage area.

Why Trans-Am didn't give Drissi the black flag or move over flag since he was laps down we may never know. Someone in that series failed to tell him that he was laps down. However, what he did was poor sportsmanship. Nothing wrong with blocking, but taking another driver out with you, especially someone fighting for a championship, no excuse for him.

I imagine they did. At the very least, I can promise you he saw a lot of blue flags from corner stations. I used to volunteer with the corner marshal/ F & C group based near there (Lake Erie Communications), and they're on the ball. A very professional group at least when the racing started/ something happened. Otherwise... Well, you don't have to be nuts to be a corner worker, but it most certainly attracts the type. They have fun, but when it hits the fan, they are 110% on the job. I can just imagine some of the radio chat.....

Im pretty sure he was, watched this race live and called for Drissi to have a lifetime ban. Funny thing is. Ruman and Drissi are both running TA this year, and it goes to Mid-Ohio (her home track) where this happened

He's an advertising exec, I was at the 2013? TA race at Mid-Ohio, was the inaugural Nationwide race. If I remember correctly he dumped her and Pete Halsmer in that race.

Drissi's move was just plain unprofessional. However Ruman should've laid back a bit so she wouldn't get involved in a wreck. Though I agree with her statement, even though people will think she was whining like Danica Patrick does every race. Also, why the heck didn't the officials black flag Drissi or tell him to get out of the way?

Danica whines while being mid-pack, Ruman "whines" because a lap down car just took her out pointlessly while leading the championship. Only exception i'll give Danica is when Kahne wrecked her it looked somewhat intentional.
