Sounds great but center detente is considered flat. Anything below detente is actually cutting frequencies.

Surprised the customer didn’t want an EMG preamp, along with the EMG pickups. I’m in love with my EMG BQC pre w/my DC40 soapbars. Is the Tone Monster Preamp lesser expensive?

Todd Bogley EMG doesn’t make preamp, they makes circuits. Just try Bartolini or other brand “preamp”, you will feel much different, monster preamp is cheaper then others.
