Very underrated band. Billy is one of the best guitarists ever and Ian is at a level like few others. Got to see Billy at a special concert for only around fifty people and he was fantastic.

I saw The Cult supporting Guns n Roses at Milton Keynes Bowl in the 90's. It was super hot in the crowd. When they played Rain, it started raining at the chorus. You couldn't have made it up. I thought they seeded the clouds to make it rain. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

Loved the Cult past tense , Ian needs a major overhaul I think the Cult is representative of a group that wasted golden opportunities multiple times thanks to Ian, sadly the Cult realized their potential long after their popularity had eroded and they now seem desperate to breathe life into a fire that's long dead but for the nostalgia. RIP

There were alot of great bands in the 80s as.....I loved them all, but the one band that always resonated for me over and over was the one band that never got mainstream attention ....it was the one band that was for most accounts, in my opinion and still to this day, one of the baddest ass rocking bands on the planet....I'm 50 years told today and they still blow me away.

Top of the Top! The Cult is out of this world. Simply amazing !!! I especially love the songs from LP Electric from 1987. This post is another eternal record of this sensational band! When "Love" came out , my high school buds and I went The Cult on March 26, 1986 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. Epic! 31 years later I am still listening to their music with the same ferocity as if I had just heard it for the first time. They go down in my top 3 of best bands ever. Somebody said they were often overlooked, and agreed , and I think the critics failed to appreciate what The Cult brought to the table. Clean, honest , soulful, no bullshit Rock n Roll . And again, 31 years later after seeing more live shows and performances of all of my favorite bands, ...Love goes down as my #1 live show. It was mesmerizing. Thanks Ian and Billy for all of the years... and still rocking!

The Cult is one of the most underrated rock bands of all time. I bought my copy of Electric when it came out and it is still in rotation today. There are not many bands from that era I can say that about.

Saw them live twice, including one time in an outside venue. I was almost in trance, because it was so excellent. My gf who was with me said she had never seen me like this. The Cult does that to ya...

THE CULT sind eine der ganz wenigen, ganz großen Bands. Ähnlich wie THE LEATHER NUN aus Schweden. Diese Musik steht einfach hoch über allem, über all dem Mist, den wir sonst angeboten bekommen.

I've been a fan of the cult since '85. I'm glad to never have been disappointed. Billy, I don't know why you were placed back in the corner of the guitar world but, you are extremely under rated. You are an awesome guitarist!!!
