No, this was not the last performance of the night. But what was great the next award was female vocalist of the year. The winner was Miranda Lambert and in her acceptance speech, she said "her and her band was leaving to go practice" . It was so awesome. Just thought you would want to know that

This entire performance was DOPE!!! The arrangement and vocals was an out of body performance. Justin, Chris and the band totally locked in. Chris, JT, & the band totally took me out. EPIC PERFORMANCE by EVERYONE. THE MUSICIANS WERE LOCKED IN PERFECTLY WITH CS & JT. THIS IS AN EPIC PERFORMANCE ON ALL LEVELS. EVERYONE TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND. THIS IS WHAT MAKES LIVE MUSIC SO AWESOME. PROPS TO THE SOUND AND VIDEO, LIGHTING AND EVERY PERSON WHO PERFORMED THEIR GIFT TO THIS PRODUCTION!!!

I saw this live, and I am not an emotionally demonstrative person. When it was over I was standing, and my throat felt raw, my hands were red, and I was exhausted...I still have no memory of putting my plate down and getting off of my sofa. I've probably watched this video 100 times from the official video to every reactor I can. Yours was and still is my Fave reaction EVER. I'm such a huge JT fan from back in the NSync days to everything he's done since. Chris is such an amazing singer and an awesome duo with JT on this as well as "Say Something", especially the ONE TAKE video. Drink You Away is my 2nd favorite on the 20/20 album but I've never found a video. When this one showed up, I was SO excited, but once I watched it, I was dumbfounded!! As you said, I would have never bothered to get on the stage after this performance if I was one of the artists slated to perform.

Chris Stapleton is his on genre! He is so soulful, R&B, and just straight cool. That is his wife singing harmony with them. It’s because of her that he is even on stage. She had to talk him into it. He really has stage fright. Her name is Morgan. Such a great reaction! Thank you!

A few things: the applause lasted through the tv break. Miranda Lambert thanked them when she won for best female vocalist of the year. And the life that you received from this, this is what I feel every single time I see it, and watching you feel it like I have, that was just a joy. As far as JT, I knew he was going to be good as a soloist when “Gone” came out and he bent a note in the last third that was so clean and amazing… For Chris, go watch the live version of “Either Way”. My dude is there by his self and his guitar and he breaks your heart.

@@ToneyReactions "Fire Away" is one you may want to watch the official video. Chris doesn't normally do those but he had a message to deliver. It's much more impactful with the video. "Watch You Burn" at The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards 2022. It'is one that is out of character for Chris but one of my favorites. That song is the only one were Chris cones in with a chip on his shoulder.

This is one of my all time favorite live performances, and not only should they record an entire album together, but I would pay more money than I could afford to in order to see them do this live and be a part of that energy in the room. Morgan, Justin and his band, and Chris are all raw wonderful talents alone. This night, they were enjoying and having fun doing their craft. It went into that rare air that only joy can take you, that stratospheric height of perfection, leaving the audience and viewers left in awe. To have this super rare moment caught on Film is a true blessing. The only other performance to even come close to this was Bruno Mars superbowl performance.

What an absolutely awesome reaction to one of my favorite live performances at an awards show ever. Finally someone felt exactly like I did when I first watched this. Thanks for the reaction :) "He may have to be like under a certain title just to get recognition or to get on certain charts or somethin' like that and _he chose Country,_ but this is Blues." - He didn't chose Country. Country chose him after he and his wife wrote a few hundred songs for other Country artists, including several number ones. All of his contacts in the business would have been in Country and everyone already knew how frickin' talented he was.

The first time I visited a black church in Nashville a lady was taking everyone to church singing "Take Me To The King" and no cap a shoe went flying by my head and scared the crap outta me until I knew what it meant. LOL

Late to the party, I really enjoyed your reaction to this. I think this is the best live performance I've ever seen in terms of quality of performance and the audience reaction. A close second is Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, and Gary Clark, Jr. in the Stevie Wonder tribute. Just amazing. Everyone in that theater knew they were hearing something very special and probably remember this to this day as a highlight. I also wonder who the unlucky soul was who had to follow this performance!

I remember watching that show and I was just stunned by what I saw. The rest of the show was pretty darn flat after that performance. That was pretty much my first real introduction to Chris Stapleton. I still haven't heard a bad song from him, and I have all the cd's.

OMG I just found your channel early in the morning while my kids where sleeping. I've seen this mashup before but YOU brought so much joy and fucking feeling I was jumping around and belting out the song!
