This was a huge help! The knob on my shifter crumbled and had to take off the handle like he did in the video just to drive it home.

Dealing with the same headache now with my '97. Honda made way too much💰 in the 90's off these cars. I guess the tradeoff is hella⛽️ mileage for cheap materials. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Thx for the share!

I had the exact opposite problem as you so far no help 😢 my replacement piece is slightly larger so from reverse to 4-1 gear It just needs to be pulled or pushed a little to shift no pushing down on button needed

I got the whole thing, handle and all for $25. It's a piss poor design; like you, I replace it twice. 97" Accord. The whole thing needs plenty of grease to operate smoothly.
