Pastor Chris Oyakhilome - The Power of Tongues (Book Extract)...
When you're born again and filled with the Holy Ghost, the power of God comes to reside in you. This power is triggered off or set in motion when you speak in other tongues.
"He that speaketh in an tongue edifieth himself; ..." (1 Corinthians 14:4).
The Greek word translated "edifieth" is "oikodomeo," which means to charge up like you would charge up a battery. This scripture is therefore telling us that one who speaks in an unknown tongue builds himself up like an edifice; he emboldens himself and charges himself like a battery.
There is no limitation as to what the Spirit of God can do in your life today if you would spend some quality time to speak in other tongues.
When you speak in tongues, you're not talking to men but to God. You're speaking mysteries - secret truths, hidden things that are not obvious to the understanding. When you speak in other other tongues, secret truths and realities are being revealed.

The miraculous work of God and of the Holy Spirit appear foolish to those who don't know Jesus. The problem is not the pastors or the one who believe, the problem is those of you who have no relationship with Jesus Christ . How can you see spiritual things when you all are not spiritual??? ...And Here is a warning- (Mark 3:28-30- Blasphemy against the son of man will be forgiven,but whoever Blasphemes against the Holy spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of eternal sin..Amen ...

TRULY Holy Spirit Living inside of us,if you are a christian. what make it different to people is the manifestations. to some their life change miraculously..and to others they experiencing speaking in Tongue. and many others that are written in the Bible ..i have been looking Him until i got it in the book of (john 14 :20) and many other books'...and before i uses to said , Lord let me experience what people always give testimony about....i until one night pressure rising withing me when i was praying..something also come in to my mind that when you get born again and turn from your wicked ways then definitely you received the Holy Spirit.......indeed words in the bible are living words..they can change your life if you let rule you.. there is a different to christian who go to church and not really putting word into practices and the one who make Christianity as living style..and deny ourselves with the things which we have no benefit .prayer is the main key to speak to God....over all thank to God for inspiring Pastor Chris and the entire team who always dedicated their times to spread the Words Of God. and to my critics believed or not the Holy Spirit Jesus Talks about He is there in side us.
