My boyfriend did the exact same to me back in 1988..thought I was going to die...got so depressed lost 60 pounds in 6weeks...I was really in a dark place..thank God for prayers and my family who was very patient with me except my brothers..they felt because I shed tears....my ex should shed blood...I told them that I didn't want them to end up in jail...needless to say his wife...my homegirl...we never spoke again....He had a massive stroke and died a few years back....I actually felt sorry for his wife, my ex-friend and their 2 kids...and I thank God for my husband and my 2 boys....never wanted that for them...I wished I would have made peace before he died and just let the past go....

It's so funny because long ago when my husband and I talked about it, my husband said he was both angry with my ex-boyfreind and grateful to him at the same time...angry for hurting but thankful for freeing me for him...My husband believes everything happens for a reason...I said you married a loser, he said "No I married a beautiful woman who was hurt to the bone, who after time, gathered her strength and realized their was so much more to life than what's-his-name...someone who learned and was able to build on her experience in a positive way"...To be honest I sit sometimes and just think about my husband and smile...I only had 2 boyfriends in my life...my husband was my second and the one who asked me to take his last name.My husband has been battling cancer for 3 years now...I feel selfish because all I think about is the good times we 've had and I feel guilty for it...Shame on me...

This song couldn't have came at a better time in my life this is my story. The man I thought loved me never did he got back with a ex girlfriend he dated in high school while we were in a relationship. He dumped me they are now happily married everything I wanted in life with him he's now doing with her. He was seeing his ex behind my back the whole time I have been hurt so many times I give up on love. Its amazing how a person can hurt you so badly, but they are living life like it's nothing I just don't understand. I'm just tired of being hurt I do pray your situation gets better. Sorry for the rant it's hard keeping this all in I had to release it.

Dang this made me want to cry just listening to it them lyrics hit hard especially that settle down one.....Chile even the ones you never saw a future with when you hear they getting married it just stings! Guess you’re thinking did he turn into the man you wanted and needed him to be? 🤔
