+Green Ranger If you want to see him in pure "This is how you cook you are doing amazing" mode then watch the Junior Chef. He is fantastic. I always like to say there is a difference between kids learning how to cook and messing up, and an executive chef who makes a ton of money screwing up chicken for the fifth time.

+DamienDarksideBlog I love Gordon when he is working with kids. It's like a whole other person. And you are right. It is because there is a massive difference between kids and executive chefs. Even the chefs who are eager to learn from him are treated better because they are listening. He just can't stand ignorance in professional environments, and really, who can? He just says what he is thinking rather than tip toeing around.

It's because when kids can cook at a young age it's an accomplishment. When adults can't cook/say they can cook and can't it's disgraceful and rude. Also, waste of time. Cooking is a universal skill every human should know. If you are 25+ and can't cook Gordon will rip into you.

I would've made it better as a fanned crepe, with the chocolate chips and Nutella blended with the cream cheese and put into the crepe, topped off with extra chocolate chips and whipped cream. As a final touch for color, a strawberry fan with a mint sprig. What? I'm a cook myself.

He's not lying. It's a lovely crepe considering the girl's age. Do you honestly expect the same standards for kids and grown up adults? That's some serious bullshit dude. Around her age I'd have called perfect a crepe I would've managed to cook without burning it or myself, let alone doing it in front of a crowd and several cameras moving around while having a time limit.
