Honestly I see Morgan as the epitome of Tony’s character development. He went from a flawed guy with daddy issues to a great mentor/father figure to an actual father in every sense of the word. You can tell that being a father fulfilled him in a way that nothing else ever could, not even being Iron Man.

Scott and cassie are the best father daughter pair. Tony and Morgan were really sweet but I didn't connect to them the way I did scott and cassie and Tony and Peter. I think these scenes were there to show what a good dad tony is, to bring closure to the insecurities he's had since the Iron man movies. However this relationship was shown from Tony's perspective only, one sided and relationships are a two way stream. Sure morgan said I love you 3000 but that was it. Maybe had they shown Morgan calling Tony while he was at the compound cuz she missed him or showed her asking pepper where daddy is and when he is going to come back during the funeral cuz she doent understand what has happened and she misses him, now that would have elevated the relationship and made us connect with it. As it is when tony died my immediate thought was oh my god poor peter where as logically I should have felt sorry for morgan cuz she is his daughter and she is only four.

Peter being the big brother for her and when Tony dies, Peter fills in the fatherly role. He knew what it was like to lose a father figure so he not only treats Morgan well, he makes sure to keep himself alive so Morgan doesn't lose anyone else

The relationship these two have always resonated with me and it always just makes me think of me and my own dad when I was Morgan's age. My parents had me when they were on the older side like Tony as well, so even the age difference is accurate hahaha These scenes just make me so nostalgic and I just love their happy faces so much I want to cry. Families can really be beautiful sometimes Edit: also the fact that THE Tony Stark has a daughter and calls her bambina is just. Awwwwwghhhh 🥺❤️ that's what I call character development Another edit: especially in this moment 1:33 the way he smiles really reminds me of my dad, like, look at those eyes. My heart. I love when older people smile and have those wrinkles around the eyes, it just makes them look so kind if that makes sense. I'm rambling for way too long. Somebody stop me.

I am going to cry. I have never had an active father in my life, and I am moved every time I see the perfect father-child relationship. In the cinema, I cried so much in these scenes not with the thought that Tony was going to die (think in the second film) but that Morgan has such a wonderful dad.

Really wish we had gotten a series about the Starks. Not necessarily a superhero action kind of show (frankly, Iʼve had enough of those), but just a quiet drama about mother and daughter coping after their loss. And of course, it could have been peppered with flashbacks of Tony and Morgan, so we could get more cute moments. But, oh well.
