I've been listening to Tony Bennett since I was 17 years old instead of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones etc. I am 60 years old now and never tire of listening to him, song after song, album after album. Mark Anthony did a great job here with Tony. Bravo Performance by both.

I knew Marc Anthony was a great singer but it wasn't until I heard him sing "El Condor Pasa (If I Could)" & "Late In The Evening" at the tribute concert for Paul Simon that I realized JUST HOW GOOD a singer he really was. A singer, IMHO, has CHOPS when they can sing an iconic song & make it their own while not destroying it. That's exactly what Marc Anthony did. My comment was a compliment to Marc. Some singers have voices that are limited to certain types of music, for example Pitbull couldn't sing this song but he is fine rapping/singing the pop song "Rain Over Me" with Marc Anthony. Marc is fortunate to have a voice that can adapt to any song from any era. The singer Michael Buble also has an old fashioned crooner type voice and his voice fits with a lot of music from the 1950's. I agree with you about Marc singing more pop songs though.

Mr. Bennett is special to me as an artist and friend because I remember when I was a young teenager meeting him in the local diner on Saturday's late morning and he was special.
