I think he is so gracious and kind, a truly beautiful man. I hear he is very nice to fans who approach him, he asks their names, shakes hands, signs things, takes pictures with them...just really goes out of his way. I would love to meet him, he's dreamy.

Tony came here to Melbourne in the late 80's early 90's to promote his book. The biggest regret I have was not going to the Hilton to meet him in person. What a legend and a Hungarian icon, love you Tony. I am a big fan God Bless.

His name is Bernard Schwartz (Black in English). His parents were Hungarian Jews. He was born in USA in 1925. A true Hollywood legend. Very gifted and underestimated. He is alive, but unfortunately forgotten

I am so impressed by how respectful and friendly Tony is to the super-serious crew. His joie de vivre really shines through in this interview. It's nice to see someone of his stature behaving so well in a private, unguarded moment. He was a pretty deep guy, despite all of his charm and humor. I think this quality really contributed to his acting. He was in touch with his humanity, and portrayed it beautifully to his audience. RIP, Tony.

I can't believe he will be 85 this June (2010) He was so gorgeous on the BIG SCREEN. I watched all of his movies when they came out. That is, starting about 1955, and by the time I was 12, in 1960, he was Sparticus! The great imposter was outstanding, even for an 11 yr old! Of course, "Some Like It Hot," was HUGE that year too! I still love the man!

Tony Curtis - Kertesz Antal (the English name is almost exactly pronounced as the Hungarian)- his family emmigrated during the second World War ... Kertesz means garden. he changed his name like thousands of american - hungarians who left hungary to the states since 1956 uprising.
