All of those companies merged together, but companies never keep any of the programmers or artists who made those games great (Quake III Arena). That's why we end up with the same rehashed product with slightly updated graphics and added gimmicks like hoversuits. The history of Activision and Infinity Ward, 2015, Inc., Gray Matter Studios, Neversoft, Treyarch, Beenox, Raven Software, Luxoflux, Bizarre Creations, Radical, etc. is a really sad one. All the amazing art those studios created is so much more than the CoDs they made after they closed those companies, but only one group profits...

@purplegill10
@purplegill10 4 жыл бұрын
Robomodo _did_ love skateboarding and genuinely tried to make a good game out of thpsHD/5. The problem was activision rushed them to no end and they had very little help in regards to studying old source code stuff. They had to make a thps game from scratch and do it with a small team.

@@purplegill10 Ah, sucks to hear that. I know that Activision did also rush Neversoft with their games, but i guess Times have changed and Publishers got even more greedy. @2ichie 4 жыл бұрын
you’d be surprised how quick i got kick flips down. i was always able to spin the board but never knew how to get my feet back on, then one day some skater told me to place my feet in a certain way and literally within a couple tries i was closer than i had ever been in my life and landed the trick that day. so i’m saying if there is a professional skater there who knows foot placement then you can teach someone to kick flip in a day

@@mikesounds3827 On a similar note... I work in an office with a lot of guys from India. I have noticed several times while in the bathroom washing my hands, I see a lot of them leaving the stalls and either rinse their hands with no soap, or completely walk away from the sink. Gross!

BringThePain513 yep my friend, yep... it takes me back to my childhood when I’d watch these. And things were better back in the late 90s early 2000s you know.. I really don’t like what we are now. We’re too plugged in... everything is too padded, too soft, everyone is too much of a knowitall, everyone is too plugged in now...it just seems like if they tried to do this in today’s world, there would be a lot of paperwork involved. There would be some liability or regulation that would restrict them from having a fun little kickflip contest
