Let's be clear: tony khan seems like a genuinely good guy and DOES have a great love and passion for the business. That is not disputed. HOWEVER,there are two major problems: in one way he books it like a video game:barely any story at all, angles and groups just start/stop/disappear at random, wrestlers start getting over/heat then disappear, And jobber level guys get put in main events(wheeler yuta especially), Not to mention every match has to last 10 minutes minimum,,, The other thing is weak leadership:Too many wrestlers are allowed to go into business/do thiet own angles that creates a disjointed product and ruins cohesion(jericho and the elite being the worst offenders)

The ratings will tell you that four straight weeks still remain over 1 million is fantastic and people want to crap on them and praise Triple H and as I recall Monday night Raw did 1.5 million viewership and ranked number five they got destroyed by Monday night football what do people expect it's not going to do well against Monday night football and that main event was Alexa Bliss vs Bayley you know that nobody's not going to tune in for that at that last match was not that great I'm happy for aew for still stay on top and I hope to continue to do well I need to go bounce back from the drama I never lose faith in them

I really want Tony to take his job seriously as a promoter and leader. He can’t act like “one of the boys” because the wrestlers will exploit his kindness.

Tony is awesome. Energetic enthusiastic and makes an effort at everything he does. Like I said awhile ago its his money and his company he is in charge and can do whatever he wants. 👍👍

Except for the other wrestling promotion that beats them in the ratings, buyrates, sells more merchandise, sells more tickets, has a bigger fan base, has the best stories, has the best everything. At least Triple H doesn’t have to go to some random KZfaqr to beg fans to come to his show tonight because he can’t even sell out the stadium with the stacked card that he has tonight. Yeah, it’s the only wrestling promotion that matters. Lmfaoooooooooooooooooo

Every time I get frustrated with some of Tony's bad booking decisions (because he has no background in wrestling) and some of his facepalm-inducing management decisions, I watch him in interviews, and you can see the guy's passionate about what he does and he's trying. He needs an experienced booker make those important decisions in wrestling, though. Even Ted Turner knew he couldn't run a wrestling promotion as a fan. He hired the wrong people most of the time, but at least he knew that. And the idea that you have people like William Regal, Dean Malenko, Sting, and other legends of wrestling answering to guys on the active roster who have accomplished nothing in North American wrestling blows my mind. Come on, man. I want to root for you. But sometimes you make it so hard.

The legends dont answer to anyone on the roster. The evps dont book matches genius. They arent in charge.

Barely a week goes by without TK doing an interview or press conference or podcast etc. Bischoff said he thinks AEW would benefit from stepping away from the spotlight and focus on the talent as opposed to getting himself over. Interesting point.
