The thing about Tony is how he disappoints you. He's by no means the good guy. Sure, you can sympathize with him sometimes, but otherwise he's a cruel, egotistical sociopath and 9 times out of 10, when presented with a good choice vs a bad choice, he chooses the bad. But every once in a blue moon, he'd choose the good choice and you'd think maybe, just maybe he was finally turning a new leaf before quickly reverting to his old self. He was so flawed and that's why we loved him.

Read someplace that James was offered a lot of money to star in a movie version of this amazing show but he turned it down as he didn't want to be only known for this fantastic role. That is why he played the gay assassin in the Mexican. With his acting ability he could play any role from tough guy to romantic and to action. We can only dream what future parts he would have played. According to reports he was a shy guy but could be tough when he wanted to be. For me the last photo taken of him at the fish stall where he didn't look well just before he passed was the saddest thing. I honestly don't think he knew how much he was loved by his family friends loved ones and fans and I hope he has found peace.
