The injuries Mclellan got were unbelievable. I always felt sorry for him. Then I found out he'd make dogs fight to their death. It's gotta be Karma.

Great fighter Nigel Benn,heart of Lion and big puncher,all action fighter,met him whilst or door doung security at Warehouse Plymouth,he was doing new years eve Dj in club,4 of us had to look after him not like he needed it but yiu know drunks would try there luck,lol,proper nice man

There is footage of a Spanish guy who had taunted ben he jumped over the dj stand and knocked him out, he was asked why, he said I’d never heard of him 😂

Benn put MClellan in his place,his greatest win.He beat Eubank in the return fight although Eubank got another dubious verdict from the judges giving it a draw..But McClelan fight was not a fight he likes to be remembered for though because of what happened to McClellan.But it easily could have happened to him aswell.The most hardest vicious fight i ever saw seeing it on tv.Either boxer could have died from that fight.

Hit Michael Watson with everything and Watson kept coming..when Benn realised he could'nt beat him he quit turning his back on him making out he got a thumb in the eye..really pissed me off as i went to the fight and had a right few quid on him to win..they say he didnt want to know about fighting Herol Graham either. A very good fighter but not world class in my opinion,very exciting thats for sure.

Absolutely right mate.! A really good fighter with the heart of a lion but a great boxer(marquis of Queensbury) definitely not. would go toe to toe with anyone but always came a bit short against a top boxer.... Like you said, avoided herol Graham like the plague and wouldn't go near Roy Jones who was fighting at Ben and eubanks weigh at the time.. After saying that he was great entertainment and a crowd puller. That's why he will be remembered over far better British middle/ super middle weight boxers in that era
