When a man says "I don't want a relationship", listen! He said it and means it: he does not want a relationship with you when he tells you, ladies. We need to learn on how to listen, and apply the information we hear. I can understand Tony's frustration. Kudos to him for having patience and grace with us. Yup once he retires from all this, we won't get to hear his wisdom no more.

My marriage taught me how vicious a man could be. My marriage is the only relationship I’ve ever been in and I thought because a man bought me things, paid the bills and financially took care of time that meant he loved me. I worked in the beginning but after having kids i stopped working l, which was agreed upon. I was abused in every way, found out he had outside kids, serial cheated, manipulated, had sex with women in our house and BLAMED ME for everything. I went to real estate school, about to finish with my degree in business, started a business with all 5 of my kids. I don’t know if I can trust again but i know I will be fine.

Yes, not everyone who ask for advice truly wants it. To truly change and heal takes work. I think the greatest thing some may have a problem accepting is that a man thinks and does things differently from women. It's hard for some to accept that because they can't reconcile the fantasy or wishful thinking with reality, or the good feelings someone once gave them with unacceptable behavior their seeing or hearing about. But the sooner we understand that truth is when we can begin to appreciate what what he's saying and we can apply it.

It must be very nice to able to see through everyone’s pain and hardship they’re going through. I appreciate Mr. Gaskins and I understand his frustration. When I first came here like a damaged lost sheep, he helped me save my own life after letting myself be abused in every way because I didn’t love myself. If we were truly in God’s spirit, He would want us to come from a level of compassion, patience, love, and understanding. We don’t know what we don’t know and sometimes it’s hard to see through or own pain when we are in it neck deep.

I think TG is a gifted person, in the sense of (emotionally) highly intelligent. The fact that he gets frustrated is therefore understandable but unnessecary because its not that people are unwilling to learn or that people are dumb. Its just that it takes a certain amount of (emotional) intelligence to see exactly what he means AND to apply and incoorporate it immediately and seamlessly into our own personal situations. It is logical for TG because he is gifted but it takes many tries and many failures for people who are not as gifted to learn the same thing. Its not to put TG on a pedestal or make people feel stupid, its just to say that the approach of learning is different for everybody.

Don't even think about dating until ur baby is 5 years old

This should've been titled stop lying. The worst thing we can do is lie to ourselves. The first lady I was in a abusive relationship from age 17 to age 26. I am now 33. I took a 2 yr break jumped into another relationship and had 3 kids. I thought I was healed after that 8 yr relationship since I was single. I waited 2 yrs. But the man I was with next was abusive in a different kind of way. Now a single mom of 4 I realized towards the end of me calling it quits on that relationship that I was never healed and just was isolated and standing still. Queen you need therapy and you need to find you. Find out how to have joy in your day with a dry phone. Having a safety net man that is keeping up mentally stuck is just as bad as then first relationship. All the men know you are not healed that's why they call you in times of need and they can drop off and pick u back up at anytime. It hurts. Like why can't a men just love me the way I love. But even I had to realize love without any boundaries is not love at all. It's co dependence. So full therapy, a belief system, and true quality time with yourself will start the process that you need. That we all need after dealing with abuse. We have to understand it's not our job to lay down and get stepped on so the man can walk across his puddle of bs. I hope u read this. This is NOT going to be easy. There's going to be alot of wet pillow nights. You'll go through 100 notebooks Journaling. You'll be full of anxiety bc you will be out your comfort zone. You're going to feel like comprising. BUT TRUST ME IT WILL BE WORTH IT. 💛🙏🏼
