You know, struggling with addiction and depression are so hard to explain to someone else. This song does an outstanding job of expressing how it felt within my own head. Granted, its not easy to explain a lot of things until you are actually sober. Thank you for writing a song that explains what it was like for me. Whether addiction and depression were the basis for the song or not. Wonderful song, you have gained a fan. Looking forward to the rest of your work.

I hope your demons are less strong than they were when you posted this, two years ago. I know those demons all to well, myself. If you ever need someone to listen, relate or care.... I’m here. Truly. I don’t know you but I know how crippling that shit is. And I know that reaching out to people often goes against our nature and is overwhelming to even consider or entertain. Whether strangers, best friends, family members or therapists. But it’s much better than bearing all the weight and anguish on our own. It’s never a bad idea to reach out. t’s never wrong to ask for help. Xoxo. Ashley.

I love how they made the video for this song. It perfectly portrays the feeling of despair, hopelessness and sadness caused by a lack of goal or purpose in life, which thus so often leads to anxeity, depression or addiction of some sort. The sense of alienation that many of us young adults born in the 90's feel seems typical for our time too, because on the one hand we are very free to choose our own paths in life, and many we are even encouraged to do so, but on the other hand it just as easily leads to a lack of purpose instead. It's almost as if the vast amount of freedom becomes an existential burden for many young people, instead of the intended happiness or sense of self-fulfillment.

I don't remember very well how it was, but I met TCTT with this song in 2017-2018. I just found out about the death of this angel that I fell in love with and a few days ago I found out about the death of Taylor Hawkings. R.I.P. Keaton Pierce, I liked your band more and more and was waiting for new music for a long time. You are surely in heaven along with my idols Kyle Pavone & Chester Bennington. You will guide the band on a good path and protect all Metalcore & Post-Hardcore fans from heaven. May God have you in glory. My world is in mourning. Many idols have died. My condolences to all family, band members, friends, and fans. "Nerve Endings" forever my favorite song.

I didn't know about this band, just heard of the death of their vocalist. As a metal, hxcx and punk rock fan wasn't disappointed of their music. I really liked the song. RIP to their singer. Condolence to the family and to the band.

I've been trying to find this band for two years and could only remember one lyric "I can't feel anything" but changed can't to don't, I love their songs, I'm so relieved to have found them again Okay go about your day, friends lol

Seen them live like 2 years ago in Denver. Crown the empire was the main show and seemed like not too many people knew who Too close to touch was at the time but that didnt stop me from being literally one of the only people to GO HARD when that song played. It was a very short but well played show.
