I’ve been stalking KZfaq all week for reviews on this palette. I restrained myself from buying it on launch day. If it had been $49 like their last several tins, it would be on its way to me right now. I was apprehensive about their “new” formula after being a fan for years of their tin formula. I’ll probably pick it up even though I have these shades 50 times over. I may wait for a 30% off site wide sale Too Faced has a few times a year.

Yep sometimes Ulta puts the fall palettes in their 21 days of beauty sale they did last year with Cinnamon Swirl. I bought mine with my ulta points. I don't recommend buying from Too Faced because everytime the product comes damanged they NEVER respond back

I passed on this palette bc I own a lot with this type of color story but I have to say every look is stunning!! I guess there’s a reason Too Faced keeps making palettes like this- they are gorgeous!! I’m glad the quality was good too 🧡🧡

I never had a palette from Too faced. I have only three palettes in my drawer all together. One eyeshadow palette lasts me for many years. I got this one "better than chocolate" as a gift. So even though there are very similar shades to the other palette I'm really excited with this one. It doesn't bother me and I might say most of women are okay with it too. If it's a good combination of shades I'm happy they preserve it in this one! Thank you for the 4 looks you created. Helped me a lot. ❤

I love all these looks. I usually pick up these palettes every year. I am a neutral lover at heart, so they usually speak to me. This one seems to give a decent variety even with some shades that look very similar. I know people complain these palettes are repetitive, and I can’t disagree with that, but I buy them all the same!

Spraying them with some setting spray or using a glitter primer will definitely improve their performance.

I use setting spray. You can use water too but setting spray has sticking power.

You're the first one I've seen to review this palette, and thank you! As a fan of the Chocolate Bar Palettes (sadly I had to declutter them because they were old), and the Chocolate Bar Gold palette that I am still enjoying and getting my money's worth (I thought $50 was too much to pay for a palette!) I will probably get this one when there's a sale, because I'm obsessed with neutrals, and anything chocolate! That gold shade is stunning - I was so hoping you'd put it on the lids, but I know I'll love it on the lids! My favorite looks are #2 (really made your pretty light green eyes pop) and the last one (me being a neutral girl at heart).

I LOVED the chocolate bar palette and wish they would bring it back. I do like that format a bit more than this 18 same size eyeshadow because the two shades I used the most often (the vanilla/light matte cream color and the very soft pink shimmer) were twice as large as the other colors. I kinda wish this palette did the same thing for the colors that you may reach for most often like Milk It as a highlight. Some of these shades do look very similar, but these shades are right up my alley so I’ll be buying this for sure. Great review and very impressive that you used all but one shade!

That’s a good point. I think the dessert aspect appeals to me personally along with the neutrals and pops of color. There’s a reason they keep doing a similar palette annually.

At first I wasn’t going to get this palette, but after seeing your video, I think I will and get rid of one or more of my older Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes. I have been going back to neutrals lately and I think I would really enjoy this one. The only other recent one I own is the Pumpkin Spice and I believe the Teddy Bear one and I do enjoy them. The older I get, the less I wear bright colors on my eyes. Not sure about he bronzer since I have a Too Faced one I really love. I suppose this is a new color? Hi beautiful, the bag is super cute & I love free gifts with purchases. The chocolate palette is very pretty & I love the blue. It’s sucks everything is going up in price. I love the scents of their products too. The bronzer looks nice & I love the JP lippie too. The complexion looks great & I need to try that eyeshadow primer. I don’t collect the palettes but they are super cute. Love all 4 looks but my fave is the first look with the blue & brown & the 3rd look. FW & have a great day

Steff just a suggestion. Can you do comparison swatches in the future with palettes with similar color stories. They may be dupes and it may be something I already have! It’s super helpful!! I can’t rationally explain why because I know I probably have these colors 50 times over throughout my collection, but this year’s tin palette appeals to me. I think it is the yellow gold shade along with the pop of blue. I skipped last year’s palette because it didn’t call to me at all. I love the Pumpkin Spice palette and still enjoy the Chocolate Gold from time to time. That said, I have never once paid full price for a Too Faced palette and probably never will. I’m going to be patient and trust I can pick this one up either with points from Ulta, on a 50% off sale in December or at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s because that is what I did for the rest I own. I recommend everyone else do the same unless you are just starting out in makeup and do no have these colors. Yes they are boring but they still look good. I particularly liked look 4, neutral yes, but also very classic and classy. Thanks for the review :)

I collect these palettes as well as some of the tin mini ones. I bought it. Funny one influencer said the quality has gone down hill since Estee lauder acquired them. I just think her stick is dupes . Those shimmers are toppers . And one needs to use a brush and not smash the finger into them and compress them into hard pan.

You know I think in the last few years these annual releases have gotten better quality wise. Not so much what’s released during Thanksgiving/Christmas but these fall palettes I think are pretty decent. To each their own though!

I was so excited when I saw this coming out . But it does look so so so similar to the cinnamon swirl one. Maybe it's because I now own sooo many palettes that everything is starting to look similar 😂

I don’t collect them but I did get last years and I plan on getting this years if I catch it on sale. I think I got last years on sale for half off so I’ll wait and if it doesn’t go on sale for whatever reason I won’t feel like I’m missing out. I do collect the smaller tin palettes which I feel are good quality and more interesting color stories.

I bought both the man eater after dark and Inuit picked up the better than chocolate yesterday. I tend to prefer the better than chocolate but I’ve done a couple of your looks from the man eater and they look stunning so now im unsure😳

Been waiting for you to review this. I do collect these. Im kind of torn....i love neutrals but I feel like the cinnamon leaned warm, holiday leaned warm....just not sure I want to spend the money on more warm when I prefer cooler neutrals. I also wonder why they put in 4 super similar transition shades 🤦♀️ You're looks were beautiful though 🤔

Hello, Ms. Steff! Please, do the brown-beige shadows particularly the mattes lean too warm in this palette? My skintone is fair, neutral and I prefer overall cooltones, still I occasionally use warm shades. //Kind regards, Hanna. P.s. About the bronzer, no, I would find that shade to dark for my liking and not cool enough. ( I haven't found one shade I like from Too faced. ) I have one from Guerlain that I enjoy and it's from the regular terracotta line.. La poudre bronzante/bronzing powder nr. 00 light cool, it is the lightest within the terrocotta products. 🙂👍

I skipped the ginger palettes but was convinced by the rave reviews to get Pumpkin Spice and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I like everything about it, from the color theme to the quality. I bought the Cinnamon bc of the Pumpkin and it was on a pretty good sale. It’s ok. I’d travel with it bc it’s good quality, basic colors and if it broke I wouldn’t cry. I’ll prob pick this one up on sale and I bet I’ll be happy with it :) Everything is going up in price so I think we have to expect cosmetics to follow that trend. Honestly, all four looks were just really pretty!

Wait so is this pallette going to be this year's fall pallette? I'm new to toofaced lol sorry. I just know they names gingerbread, gingerbread spice, pumpkin spice, cinnamon buns but they were all released in the fall right?

@@debster1721 I think you're right and they'll probably release a fall themed palette. I was just listing the last palettes I bought from them in the metal packaging and wasn't associating themes. I think this is supposed to be the updated Chocolate palette.

I bought it. I really wish I hadn't thrown out my original chocolate bar palette. I'm hoping the KZfaqrs who keep their stuff will do a comparison review on the change although I do miss when it looked like a chocoate bar palette

They do still have their chocolate matte bronzer in 3 shades which has a shade darker than this one. But I agree they should have done the same thing for this launch too.

I never wear neutrals and the only incling I have for this palette is the nostalgia since I just decluttered my OG Chocolate Bar last December and it kinda hurt my heart even though I hadn't touched it in years. I realize there is a plethora of makeup youngins that don't even know this is a revamp, but I feel it would have been better to release this at the 10 year anniversary of Chocolate Bar and I feel they could have done so much better. I feel like UD and Too Faced, that were my favorite brands when I first started wearing makeup, are stuck in a time rut and just can't evolve beyond what they were 15 to 20 years ago, and in UD case almost regress. After the indie world evolved my makeup tastes with so much uniqueness, these brands just never get my money anymore.

I just looked at Sephora website and there selling this palette 🎨 for$69.00. I just would like 👍 to see Too Face come out with different color’s and not have so many of the same close colors. I like 👍 look’s 2,3 and 4. I will definitely be looking at price this year.

First, I went to comment and got a pop up of little things like “be civil,” “I make mistakes I don’t claim to know it all…” I liked that! Second, $49 to $54 is a BIG jump when it’s the same number of shades, same size pans, packaging, etc.

@@SteffsBeautyStash ohhh! Well I agree! I got the ABH Nouveau palette and I was sad it increased it price and went from 14 pans to 12 pans even though it’s like double the product. I never hit pan in a palette so I don’t mind less grams of product but more shades…and for less money 😂

I never got the cinnamon swirl palette so I think I would like to get this one, use some points. Natasha Denona also raised her prices. Her minis are now $27 and her midis are now $69. As a neutral lover I guess I will stick with Two Faced. Makeup prices are getting ridiculous. I know everything is going up but I’m pretty sure there a huge mark up in makeup. I was willing to pay for it for awhile, but not anymore. Now I am very mindful of my makeup purchases to make sure it is something I really want. As owner of a lot of make up, not judging. Everyone has to make their own choices

I have a few palettes from two faced and I regret buying them every time for the simple fact that their shimmer colours u can barely see when applying on the Lid. I get drawn to their products because their packaging is great and marketing is done ridiculously well.
