its a thing where if you press a button it deletes the last like 10 seconds of audio before its broadcasted, like there's a 10 second delay usually

Radio safety feature, it'll cut off a mic and reset the audio back 10 seconds or so. It gives them time to back-pedal should something go wrong that could put their licensing at risk.
