Hey gents what are your thoughts on GMAT and work experience out weighing the GPA. I studied Mechanical Engineering at a small school in the north east finishing with a 2.75 GPA or so but since then have been a NASA intern now a FAANG engineer. My GMAT is currently hovering around a 720 or so. I have high hopes in attending a word class MBA with sites set on MIT LGO. How much is my relatively low GPA going to hold me back with those goals?

Get a 750 n above, it will offload the low GPA.

Why didn't you suggest Stanford for him ?

Cause he wants to do investment banking. Stanford is more known for Venture Capital instead of banking. His schools (Especially Stern and Booth) are great for IB.

Would it make sense to take the GMAT as an undergrad to try to get an MBB internship?
