Our househelp has been with us since more than 25yrs! She doesn't know when her actual birthday is so she never really celebrates so whenever possible my mother gives her clothes mostly during festivals.. she has grandkids who are very young (a 9yo & a 5yo).. we send toys or books, stationary or whatever such stuff.. Since past 4-5 years every year i make sure i send them cake nd gifts on the little kids' birthdays.. she comes home the next day nd says how happy they were.. It feels soo good nd genuinely happy to help them once in a while! ❤❤❤

My father is a daily wager, a driver. The way he gets treated when we go out with him makes me realize how cruel of a world it is, Not a single person I have encountered talks politely to him. Himadri, just know that these people crave what you doing for them, they might never show how indebted they are, or how thankful they are but they always are, they always wish well for you, and always say good things about you because you consider their existence. She might not have said anything she wants but her daughter wants to be like you, wear like you, and have a living like you. It's so hard to find influencers who are so like us & wholesome. Thank you for doing this for her, Thank you for existing. All I would want is to preach what your mother did to you to the entire world and my coming generation. You matter & we exist because you people make us feel better.
