Its not weird, its just how games work. They simply flip the sprite 180° so they can save space, otherwise, theyd have to make another entire separate spritesheet for each character, which would not only be more work, but also require 2x the space, which for a portable game no less is really not viable. In fact, a lot of games use that, just look at pretty much any fighting game and youll see what I mean.

Not by Custom 1 and 2, but NumberOpen, a NCP that takes up a 5x5 square on the NC (and when compressed leaves just enough for a compressed undershirt or Speed/Charge+1) does allow ten chips on the selection screen.

NumbrOpn is good late-game program and frees up all 10 slots for chip selection; it's up to you if you want to use that or Custom+ in conjunction with chip shuffle-it's preferential, really

Double point, train arrow 3 and +30 with a full synchro will do (50+60+30) per arrow which is 140 then quadruple it because of full synchro and typing gives 560 per arrow and you can get 5 hits max or 4 min to kill
