Jacob-About ready to buy your course, and have a few questions for you. You say you will have a lifetime of updates to this course. Would it be updates to just the original 15 on the course? Will you be adding to the original 15? Are you going to take questions from viewers (of which I have been for awhile) that pertain to a tool free (or almost) maintenance? Lastly, any courses on how to repair items that you have maintain but still eventually fail? I have bought into a repair and maintenance package before, but after I did and got inside then they asked for more money to videos which were a more in-depth description for the repair. Enjoy your unbiased view on manufacturers and am all in for perhaps some (if not all) regulation of the industry. I don't know what it is about guys whose names begin with the letter J, but my go to guys on the internet concerning RV's are Jared, Josh and now you Jacob.

Great questions! 1) Lifetime access means that if I ever update the exsisting course videos either because the RV technology changes or because I want to make a section more clear after getting feedback- you have access to the updates videos too. There is no monthly fees, it's a one-time purchase and if you want more details on what's covered in each module go to www.howtonotbreakyourrv.com and read the module descriptions. 2) The course is all about preventing avoidable repairs and staying out of the shop, so no repair content. For example, I have a module covering the top 3 ways people break their RV slides from missuse, not a tutorial on fixing broken slides. 3) There's a comment sections in each module where you can ask questions about the tips/videos and I'll answer them. I won't be answering repair questions because unfortunately the repair process is too complicated to do through comments, but I hope to make some repair videos on this public channel in the future. 4) Sorry those other repair classes were so sleezy. And yes, industry secret, you have to have a J name to be an expert on RVs ;) Only other tech I've personally worked with who was competent was a Jamie lol!

I am not shocked by the lack of information available to the public; the automobile industry does the same thing anymore, as does many other industries. Money is made in service contracts, especially in preventative maintenance. One of the first things did to my camper was to tape up all the rough edges inside the ductwork and close off the dump by the cold air return to force the ducted air throughout instead of recycling from the return to the dump endlessly. It probably improved the AC system performance by about 15% overall- it was incredible. I clean the filter every single trip.

Thank you very much. Your channel is extremely helpful. I know how car dealers are and I’m sure RV dealers are worse. I am looking to get an RV in the next few months before that happens. Once I get the dollars together, I will be purchasing all of your courses because I can already see that it saves money, the reason I say that the most is because I am very mechanically inclined and I have built hot rods, but I understand there’s a difference between a hot rod and a complicated RV way more moving parts. You have an incredible channel. I am definitely investing in you thank youMike from California

I really enjoy your videos, so thank you for them. You mentioned in this video the lack of good videos and information regarding RV repair and maintenance. Your videos on PEX and flexible hose repair are simply outstanding. If it is permissible to plug another KZfaq series on RV repair, I would like to recommend RV Street. Unfortunately, Martin passed away last year, but his KZfaq channel is just great. I highly recommend it. Keep your videos coming, I doubt if you really understand how many people you are helping.

its all stuff you would do for your car or you vaca home/whatever if you are north of Lansing, MI. bar height to get under bridges. The plumbing was good cause you cant mix line products. I kinda feel ripped off. focus on travel trailers, not all, including diesel pushers or gas guzzle chevy 3500 cut away mh @@undercoverrvtech

This guy does have some good stuff...if you tow your beat. I drive mine, but no info on a class c 3500 Chevy cut away with interior tires. or electrical, not much. his plumbing is good. i bought his course and aside from like 4 or 6 courses that helped. I knew from just being in tune with my car and having a tpm and still having to use my spare. I don't have any slide outs, and I have a motorhome. not a hitch up trailer. i need more info on my 6 tires two in front and 4 in back and hey i'm missing an antisway bar and looking for help cause its 150 per hour for some to try and i had to buy my own to try. id rather do it myself. cause then it me out time and hopefully a swap or return. I"m not happy on paying 150 for standard stuff north of the mason-dixon line. but he focus on travel trailers. no motorhomes. uggg

Questions to ask when buying a rv.. if your rv has a residential fridge.. make sure that fridge can go through the door of the rv if needed replaced.. if not, the slide of the rv will have to be taken out to remove fridge.. a huge extra cost if not under a warranty.. I just did one of these and a $2500 repair turned in to almost $5000 repair…. Be careful folks.. knowledge is key…

I even keep a vinyl cover on my AC unit when it’s parked under my shed. Jacob, will some manufacturers of furnaces void the warranty, if a bug screen is used and they will also void The warranty, if a mud Dobber builds a nest in it. Crazy!

So i bought your program and it is useful information so bonus points for that. However a big drawback is it says it's only for a year. Watching this video you say we have lifetime access. So im confused. I mostly bought it because i am planning on buying an rv for long-term living and i wanted to know everything i could before buying. You have the most honest information out there and honestly makes me want to not buy an rv 😂.

Thanks for buying my shopping course! The one year access is for that RV Shoppers course. Lifetime access is for my RV owners course, Tool-Free RV Maintenance. This is a separate course for people who have already bought an RV and want to maintain it well to avoid breaking things.

Not going to name the brand, but my friend bought a brand new 30' bumper pull last year, and put bug screens on his furnace. It voided his warranty. The furnace went out 2 months after he baught it.

Would you inform our community with any letter grade A - Class C motorcoaches? We are in the market and the best we have found is a Canadian Manufacturer family owned rental company, Fraserway. They build to rent and then sell their used products that have reach 30k miles.

I believe so, but can't find documentation about this. The course material is certainly applicable, you will just have to try the checkout and see if it has any problems for you. If you don't mind, leave another comment and let me know whether or not it works for you. Thanks!

I have a brand new Lance truck camper. Before was got to use it the shower wall cracked in 3 places. Running out from where the screws attach it to the wall. It’s getting replaced under warranty but it’s been a major hassle. Have you ever seen this happen? The manufacturer wanted to know how it happened. Obviously it wasn’t installed correctly.

Assembly line worked are very bad about over tightening screws in every place imaginable. I can tell you how many times I try to remove a screw and only a stub comes out. So yes, it is very believable that they would have been over tightened and cracked the plastic.

What really annoys me is that RV manufacturers don't already add bug screens and/or other products that are needed to prevent problems.

Me to. Every client who has bugs build nests in their appliances always says the same thing. The screens are so cheap, and the cost of not using them so high. All RVs really should come with them
